I respecced my rogue earlier today. Later on I noticed that despite having specced for archery and assasination I had Unforgiving Chain, Backstab with both upgrades, Stealth, Evade and one other skill in that tree that I forget the name of. I counted up the abilities and, to be sure, I had quite few more points invested than I should have at level 19.
To test I drank another Maker's Sigh, saved and reloaded to see what would happen. Not only was I given the additional abilities again but the game gives me 40 additional ability points to assign and 4 points for specialization.
I've done this mulitple times and gotten the same results. However, when I reverted back to a level 4 save from alst week it did not work.
Please advise.

Maker's Sigh is bugged bugged bugged. It doesn't seem to be erasing things properly. Some people have been able to get it to work better by putting all other potions and useble items in storage before using it. (See http://social.biowar...5/index/6590488)

Wow, I've had no issue with it up to this point.
I've messed with this some more and have basically discovered that, no matter what I do, the game assigns me those 8 abilities as well as one specialization every time I load the game. If I drink a Maker's Sigh those get folded into my points, assuming I don't select them as abilities or my specialization. I just bought a bunch of Maker's Sighs, erased my abilities, saved and reloaded over and over again until I had over 100 abilities and 7 specialization points.
ETA: Somehow missed the link in your post. Thanks!
