So what's up with her? Does she have anything to do with the "important business" the Warders were on, at the end of act 2? Or the reason that Leliana and the Seeker were looking for both the Warden and the Champion?  

I thought she was going to play a larger role in DA2

I'm pretty sure she's going to end up being something of a Xanatos mastermind who's engineered a lot of crazy unlikely events to occur in her favor.

If something imporant is going on in Thedas I'd be surprised if Flemeth does not have a part in it.

The saga of Hawke the Champion is not over yet. There are still expansions and DLCs. One of them could probably focus on Flemeth doing things in Free Marches.

Flemeth is the supernatural aid in hero's journey, I suspect she'll keep on serving such role for all future DA heroes.

I wish they would have showed the reactions of the Dalish at the bottom of sundermount, and possibly some random farmers. I imagine Flemeth just flies overhead and they are like o.O WTF!?

Wait....Could she be involved with the creation of the architect? I don't remember hearing an explanation for where he came from.

I believe Sandal (see his secret prophecy), Flemeth and Morrigan are all on the same wavelength. The outbreak of war throughout Thedas between Mage, Chantry and Templar is going to lead to something or someone making big changes in the world.

I suspect that Cassandra, Leliana, Hawke and The Warden will be right in the middle of it all (once the last two are found of course).

According to Morrigan she is no abomination. We don't know what she really is, so I go with the most obvious.

You know what led me to believe she would play a bigger part in DA2? The fact that she is one of 2 people besides the main protagonist that takes up 1/4 of the screen space on this website.

well the champion did infact save flemeth from what i surmise the flemeth in this  game is not the flemeth we killed in dragon age  orgins..

she a peice of flemeth that was  dying and needed to regain her powers by going to the top of soundermount which is why we need merril.

Flemeth is the original QUNARI. It makes sense too if you look at the Arishok's horns then Flemeths hair.

She will reveal that all of this is her plan to rule the world of Thedas under her, once she has a team able to take over the world. The Warden, Champion of Kirkwall, whoever is in DA3 then DA4. That will be the team that she puts forth to take out the Chantry,Orlais,Antiva, the whole world. Once thats done the Qunari will be the army of Flemeth as her "Heros" retire.

The taking over the world will be DA5, then in DA6 we will start with someone to try and take back the world, as he/she gets a army together from all over Thedas minus the Qunari.
