Just did No Rest for the Wicked, not sure if I missed something but the trap room in Castillons landing didnt seem to have a free way to the disarming switch. So I switched to Isabella who avoids traps with a backflip. If you manage to get onto one trap and turn around you'll just evade backflip straight through them. One crate had like 18g in it and the others some decent equipment. This is only the second set of these traps (saw blades and floor spears) I've ran into but its a fun little trick. Also my spirit healers party injury passive doesnt affect the trap injuries, which seems like a developer oversight. IMO this is a great game but definately lacking a few layers of polish

Oh really? That's funny then, I went in there after I fought his number 2 but before I grabbed the papers and fought Castillon. Oh well

i'm not quite sure about that map, but during Isabelas Quest (getting the Relic), where she abandons you, there is a lever next to the door (in the room with the traps) that disables the traps. But you need a Rogue to discover them.

There's a lever to shut off some of the traps. Another trap seemed to keep firing so I went and triggered the fight and then tried to go in the other door thinking there was another lever on that side... but apparantly the door on that side was just decoration, so I went back through the original enterance and lo and behold, all the traps were finally disabled and I was free to loot. Got the 18 sov too. hehe.

Stay to the left at first and run past the saw blades to a clearing next to some crates. Running only works if you go right after they've come up from the floor boards. Turn right and step past the spears to a small space between the spears and the next set of saw blades. Continue on to the right side wall and go under the shelf to walk past most of the next set of saw blades. When the blades cycle past, cut across the right corner and you've cleared the traps.

hmm
I pulled the lever, that didn't shut those traps down. I quicksaved the game (f5), then quickloaded (f9) and the traps stopped. I think it's a bug but it let me pass without any difficulty.

I've noticed with those traps that if you charge through them while they are activated you can make it. But if you try to charge through when they are paused, they get you. It's very counter-intuitive, but there you go.

I managed to get her through, but the trap disarm HAPPENS to be the exact distance my party will then move up...the traps dont disarm right away and they all bounce off traps and die..REALLY bioware. ****ing hell this game gets worse

and you cant even move through by being quick or logical. your character gets injured or hurt when the traps arent doing anything

It takes a few seconds for the traps to fully shut down after pulling the lever. That said, you need a rogue with sufficient cunning to spot the levers.

I ran into the trap, then turned and faced the other way :D  That way every time hawke tried to backflip out of the trap, she backflipped herself right to the other side!
