Simple amateur question here, but I can't find resources I've previously created such as areas, etc.  I will occasionally open up some files by the same name, but I'm presented with an array instead of a zone to edit.

Assuming you properly created a new module and are adding the new stuff into that, everything should be going to your Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/AddIns/{module_name} folder somewhere.

If you are (dangerously) creating new stuff on-the-fly, then the other place to look is Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core.

Area's, Scripts, Placeables, etc, are called Designer Resources, and are not stored by any normal means on your physical HDD. They are stored in a database, and are more like a reference to existing files included with the DA game, rather then a new file you created. If you are familiar with NWN modding, its similar to how when you made an Item, it was not stored on your HDD, but rather inside the module you were working on.

This toolset just puts a layer between 'Designer Resources' and the 'Modules' to add ease of use to multi-dev situations.

That's all true, but the directories I cited presumed the modder exported his stuff.  (I mean, who doesn't test their mod?  Don't answer.  I don't want to know.)

Ah yea, my mistake.  I forgot I had cleaned my area files.
