She's not into that one.

Are you talking about the sidequest where the man wants you to find his missing wife and bring her home?

Hell, I wasn't into that one. But I can never turn down a side-quest. Frakking meta-game thinking.

Yeah, that's the quest, it caused me to lose all my aproval. Still, i'm wondering when I can even flirt with her.

Accepting that quest nabs you +5 rivalry. You didn't have much approval to begin with.Dasher1010 wrote...

She doesn't like it because she'd rather the wife run around and have fun than be dragged back to her husband.

That said, gaining rivalry is not a bad thing. Isabela may find Hawke insufferable for a while, but be consistent enough about your do-gooder ways, and Izzy may come to realize that there's something more to life than being a self-serving wench.

She will approve if you ask for gold tho. Plus I have noticed she tends to approve of you helping elves and killing people who deserve it.Sheryl Chee wrote...
As a general rule, Isabela doesn't like it when you stick your nose into someone else's business. Everytime someone mentions a problem, and Hawke goes "Me! Me! Let me help! I want to help!" Isabela rolls her eyes and groans inwardly.

Seriously, I agree to help people and get rivalry. What's the key to getting her friendship up. Also, I've never been able to talk to her one-on-one in the tavern. How do I unlock those conversations? I also only taked to the one guy during her avct 1 personal quest with her in my party after completeing it. Did I miss out on a flirt option? Also, how do I get flirt options to open up with her/where can I get approval and how can I take sidequests without her diapproving?
The first time you talk to isabella determines her mood towards you for the rest of the game.
If the first thing you say is something mean you will never get anything but rivalry from her whatever you do while if you had been nice the first time she'd of given you friendship for the same thing.
If your on the rivalry path with her I don't think you can finish a romance with her (not sure).

Yeah Isabella seems to enjoy tough Justice.

I don't have a problem with rivalry points or going down the rivalry path. I just have problems understanding what my companions want/think sometimes

You can have a rivalry romance with all the LIs.
I may be wrong but doesn't sebastian demand 100% friendship?

Hmm. Sebastian. I'll just quote Dave Gaider on this one.

But... agreeing to help Fenris isn't sticking my nose into his business, is it? He rather involved me in his business by setting me up...? Was there an option to extort coin from him that I missed?
Isabela doesn't enjoy risking her own skin to help others. Especially if no coin (or fun) is involved. Perhaps I should have phrased it that way instead.
