As Dragon Age 2 from Bioware: 3/10.

(would be 6/10 if it was a new IP from an obscure developer)

For Reference:

Origins 9/10
Mass Effect 1&2 9/10
NWN 10/10 (solely because of multiplayer awesomeness and longevity and value, not because of SP campaign)

I agree totally. I played NWN1 for 6 years because of Persistant Worlds.

I still cannot understand how people can play DA2 more than 1.5-2 play throughs...

Some of those persistant worlds were just simply awesome.  I miss them sometimes.  :crying:

Me too, theres a few NWN2 Persistant worlds left running, and I think some nwn1 ones too.

DM quests were always awesome, a party of 8 or more, the banter, comedy insults, some damn fine RP and when fighting a monster, tactics! Playing the role of your cast to support other PC's, or being the meatshield. *sigh* Fun times.

9 - would get a 10 if i could play my mage and NOT have to look like this while fighting. If i choose other "armors" I loose in dmg, etc.

I prefered the RP the arose from the players with out the DM involvement.  (i.e. we would kidnap, ransom, assasinate, be hired as mercs, and just RP being general badguys.  What good is a "good" guy with out a "bad' guy to rp against?)

I was very often pleasantly surprised by various things like character cameos, subtle nods to things that happened in DA:O/DA:A that weren't necessarily related to the imported save, etc

I've enjoyed the game a lot. I've done three playthroughs so far. 2 as Pro-Templar, 1 as Pro-Mage. The overall story is weak in parts but the writing in general was superb. Voice-acting was top notch, especially Varric & Fem Hawke. Sarcastic Fem Hawke is such a treat.

Very rushed, dumbed down much the same as ME2 was, good overall story but with bad details and dialogue choices for many situations, terrible level design, poor character interaction, bad ending, virtually no replay value.  One of the worst offerings from Bioware to date.

3,

I can't even force myself to go past act 2. I figure, one point per act I could played, plus the enjoyment of anticipation that came before I got the game. Of course I should subtract 2 points for the letdown...

9, but close to 10. If it wasn't for the maps it would've been a 10 for sure.

Enjoyable, but Bioware seems to have bit of way more than they could chew.
