Easily a 9.

In many respects I am enjoying this a lot more than Origins. Story wise I find this more interesting and unique (Though I hate the sudden '3 years later' jumps), I generally find the characters much more interesting and feel more attached to them, I love the new gameplay (Whereas I honestly thought Origins had a very long and dull combat system). 

I just don't really find the new dialog system all that interesting and with the lack of actual Origins I will probably have less of an urge to replay it (Due to there being less options available at the beginning). On that note though, I also feel this game is less linear in the way it plays out with the overwhelming sense of quests you sometimes have. (Which I like)

One of the better stories and set of companions that BioWare has had in games, some of the often mention problems re combat and areas bring it down from being higher. Still lots' of fun and well worth the purchase.

The average of the scores so far is 7.8. Interestingly close to the average of scores from professional reviewers listed on metacritic.com and gamerankings.com.

I'm mostly able to look past the repetitive environs. The glitches, though, can be absolutely maddening. 9 is the theoretical non-glitch score. With glitches factored in, it is presently an 8.

Despite the many faults of DA2 I still enjoy playing the game a great deal.

I would not recommend for full price purchase. I would tell people to wait a few months till the price drops and you get DLC cheaper.

Edit:

So far, exactly double the ammount of people gave the game 8 or over than gave 7 or below.  Yet there are still people demanding that this game sucked as a fact.  I guess the "serious gaming community" changed their minds?
