They have no "charge" ability. Wars should be able to dash at the enemy and stun them and gain stamina to use in the fight.
You gave whirlwind to rogues?!?! WTF
Why don't they have shouts that buff the party's attack power?
Get on it guys, oh and you should call the game World of Warcraft.

OK Bioware dudes, you need to take a look at Wars. They're missing a load of things they should have.

I know this is a joke but Warriors do in fact have Whirlwind.

Though I do agree that warriors need some looks at. But not to the degree you have, I get the feeling your idea's are coming from preconceptions of how other games portray classes. This isn't DnD or another license, this is a custom made game.

I think that every class, needs to be able to do the same amount of damage, with each tier ranked spell and/or ability, so that way there is "balance" and I can sleep better at night.
OMG, 4th edition D&D!

Once again, don't get me wrong, this is a better overall game than NWN or NWN2, but the character building was far more interesting and, more importantly, RPG-ish than MMO-ish. Give me back my CRPG, I don't want to play WoW.

People are so used to seeing archetypes behave in WoW that they think that is the end all be all, and any game not copying wow's archetypes is "broken" and needs examining.

trust me, everyone understands the idiocy of what you were attempting. it's not a real argument, its a fallacy, you delivered it in a stupid and offensive way. I really hope you don't think you were being clever.

Why should a warrior do as much damage as a mage? Next are you going to ask that mages takes as much damage as warriors?
At the very least, Warrior's should be far more effective taking on a single enemy in one on one, close range combat. The mage needs a serious nerf in the HP and Armor areas. They should be absolutely critical to protect and go down quickly if they're going to be the arsenal they are. Mages are artillary, and they should be as suspeptable to direct attack as artillary is on a battlefield.
Either that, or I want to see warriors attack quicker. As it is, it's more effective to armor up a mage and give him a sword than it is to have a well built warrior lead your party.
I honestly thought this post was serious, and I was disagreeing with it. I think the game went WAY too far toward WoW. Again, I'd rather return to D&D 3.5. This is way to simplistic and confining for my tastes. Too much metagame design went into the system (seriously, I have to have a skill to shield bash someone? Now, I can understand sucking at it if you're not good with a shield, but it takes a skill to even attempt it? Very video game, very lame).

If anything, warriors need more ways to hit things with their shield.

Whats funny is the amount of people that do indeed have aspergers are probably higher than you'd think on forums since though while they can't function normally in public, they can type just fine usually.

Maybe it's the mechanics. Maybe it's the fact that melee classes are actually fun and powerful. Maybe it's the fact that the developers strive for class balance. Nah! Must just be a coincidence.

Says who? I am not sure how long you have been playing RPGs but there have been two "basic" types of spellcasters - I still call them sorcerers and mages. Sorcerers are artillery, yes. Mages don't have to be artillery. Just because it suits YOUR style of play does not mean, that the game must do the same.adembroski11 wrote...

This is all fantasy, but to say that fighter should have easy way with mage one on one is .... funny. Don't you know that mages are usually strongest characters in all fantasy settings? You think that's because they have powerful figher friends that protect them?

You know, from reading these forums, you'd never guess that WoW is the most popular RPG in history. I wander what Blizzard got right with that game. It can't be the story.

And you would think after 5 years they might of made some sort progress in that department
