My top 5:
-DA:O
-ME2
-KotOR
-Fallout3
-DA2
It's not right next to origins but it's still a great game.

I'd say right now my top 5 RPGs in no particular order would be:
1) DA2
2) Fallout: New Vegas
3) Mass Effect 2
4) Alpha Protocol
5) Mass Effect/DA:O
Planescape: Torment earns an honourable mention, but I really would have trouble placing it above any of these.
Why Alpha Protocol? It's super buggy, right? Well I played it on the PS3 - which apparently was the least buggy version - and just had a blast with it. That game did choice and consequence in a way no other game has. It genuinely changes each playthrough based on what class you pick, how you talk to people, what order you do things in, who you befriend... and not in simple ways but in hugely dramatic ways. DA2 kind of does what AP does, but not with as much freedom.
When people were telling me of how their versions of the game ended and none of us had precisely the same turn of events, I knew that it was one hell of an RPG buried under all the flaws.

3) Alpha Protocol
4) Deus Ex
5) Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Honorable mention: Final Fantasy VII. I don't include it in my list, as it's jRPG.

It doesn't even begin to measure up in my top-5 favorites; maybe closer to my top-5 most hated. Any WRPG with a half-assed CC mode doesn't deserve **** from me.
Top-5 in no general order:
Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time
Mass Effect 1&2
Final Fantasy X
TES3:Morrowind
Demon's Souls
+++++++++++++
+++++++++++++
Honorable Mentions:
Xenogears
Final Fantasy VIII, XI, X-2 (Yes, I rather liked X-2.)
KOTOR2
Resonance of Fate
Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3&4
Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 1&2
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne
The Legend of Dragoon
TES:Skyrim (I'd expect it so.)

Top5? DA2? I've played too many RPGs for DA2 to qualify even for top20
I have always problems with making TopX lists, the only place I can decide on every time is #1 and Deus Ex, but I'll give it a shot, so here it goes:
1. Deus Ex
2. Planescape Torment
3. Baldur's Gate 1&2
4. Fallout 1&2
5. KotOR 1&2
Then Final Fantasy 7 and Demon's Souls
after that, in no particular order, games like:
-Diablo 1&2
-DA:O
-ME1&2
-Icewind Dale
-Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
-Persona 4
-The Witcher
-Might & Magic 6 (until it got silly by the end with aliens >_<)
-Alpha Protocol
-Gothic 2
-uh and many, many others, I could go on, but you get the idea

Man, not even close I don't think.
Just to clarify I thought the game was alright, a bit of a let down in some areas, but overall not a bad game.
I would say Persona 4 is up there [The first type of Persona game I played and I thought some of the concepts in that game were pretty unique, while the combat was pretty generic.] Then PlanescapeTorment for it's art direction and narrative design maybe not so much for the game play. Though I've never finished it Baulders Gate 2, which isn't to say I think things should go back to the way they used to be and all that rot. Probably Star Ocean 2, played it when I was very young and it being up there probably has more to do with nostalgia then actual quality of the game. Then Vampire: Bloodlines which was really interesting while completely unpolished, buggy, rushed and fell apart in a narrative sense at the end.

In no particular order
Dragon Age : Origins
Mass Effect 1
The Witcher
KOTOR1
NVWN2
Not quite..just floating outside it with Oblivion..no real reason for that...just if I could take five RPG to the life beyond...those would be it..

It's not in my top 5, but I honestly don't know where to put it.
1) Morrowind
2) Baldur's Gate
3) Baldur's Gate 2
4) DA:O
5) Icewind Dale
6) Pokemon Yellow
7) Planescape Torment
8) FF12
9) Phantasy Star Online
Then 10 can be Oblivion, DA2, Jade Cocoon, Jade Cocoon 2, Jade Empire, NWN, Chrono Trigger, FF8, KotOR, etc. At 10 it gets really hard for me.
Honestly, if I do a top 50 list, some of my top 10 will probably look different, with the top 6 being pretty solid.
It was too hard to list just 10 games, let alone 5.

Struggling to limit this to a top 5. But to answer the question bluntly, no DA2 would not be in my top 5. I did enjoy DA2 for what it is though.
1) Dragon Age Origins
2) Mass Effect
3) KOTOR
4) Mass Effect 2
5) Neverwinter Nights 2
The next wave would include Baldurs 1&2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, The Witcher and Dragon Age 2 in some sort of order. And then I'd put a bunch of JRPGs like FF7, FF8, Enchanted Arms, plus expansions like Awakening, Hordes of Underdark, Mask of the Betrayer, etc, below that.

No real particular order:
KOTOR
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age 2
Morrowind
Oblivion
Grandia II
I've yet to play Jade Empire or Neverwinter Nights 2, but I just recently bought both. Haven't gotten around to them yet because I'm still replaying DA, but hopefully they end up on the list.
I don't know whether Dragon Age 2 would rank amongst the top 5 though...right now, I don't think so, but it's still a very good game.
