Hi all, I'm still working through my first playthrough, romancing Merrill, and at the beginnign of Act 3, I went to go talk to her in the alienage.  She was crying, and talking about how the keeper was gone and her people hated her, or something like that.  I was very confused, and when I talked to her again she was fine, talking about fixing the mirror.  I got to the part later in Act 3 when you confront the demon and the keeper on sundermount, and after that encounter I haven't been able to talk to Merrill about it, as in, have that conversation from the beginning of the act.  All I want to know is whether or not my romance with her is glitched.  Will it continue on like normal, with only the order of conversations changed a little, or am I screwed?

It is a bug, you can still finish the romance and her quests.

Same for me but something weird turns out, at the end Varric mention everyone of them leave Hawke except Isabela?!?!?!

Well, I did have that one night stand with her and agree to broad her ship WITH merill after the crisis, but this outcome is just not making sense at all. Or Isabela somehow kill Merrill while they are on her ship?

I remained loyal to my Merrill except for the occasional trip to the Rose:whistle:

I got the same bug with Varric mentioning Isabela  except she ditched me at the end of act II, so it was impossible for me to have a real romance with here at all.

I have a question. As I have the same bug, can anyone tell me when does the achivement for romance with her get unlocked? I just passed the point when Anders did that big thing with red light and Chantry. I don't want to proceed if there's a possibility that I'll need to reload an older save.

Same here. Spent "that one night" with Isabela but then romanced Merrill. She moved in with me and concluded her romance before the final battles, giving me the achievement. Then, at the very end, Varric says it was Isabela who stayed with me. 

As it stands now, i'll have to replay the whole playthrough as i don't have a save from pre-Isabela times (early Act II).

You will get the achievment a few minutes before the game ends. So have patience

Then I just gonna wait. Those bugs are annoying but... still I love the game so I gonna do my best to resist the temptation to play .

Had the same problem, doesn't affect the romance at all. You just miss out on that dialogue after the completion of "A New Path" quest. It's the same dialogue you just heard.

This happened to me as well.

You miss out on the end of her personal quest, and it makes her seem very shallow or crazy without the dialogue.......I was thinking she was just that heartless for a bit.

This happens even if you're friends, not romance. If you're at 100% before doing the last quest of hers, she bugs out. sigh.
