I can't help but question where DAII is going next, and an expansion into Starkhaven would be a great way to continue the story. You either go there as a refugee(again) after siding with the mages, or you head there as Vicount of Kirkwall. Plus, Sebastian's story was so not finished. We don't get any answers on whether he goes off to take his throne or not. But without the Kirkwall chantry, where else does he have to go?

This potential expansion would also allow the game to explain at least a little bit about why Varris doesn't know where Hawke is by the end of DAII.

Thoughts?

I'd like an xpack to fill in the area between the end of the game and Hawke's disappearance/Varric relating the tale, but I'd prefer if it took place over a broader area of the Free Marches than just Kirkwall or just Starkhaven. That's a pretty big fault with this game - the sense of scale and scope is just not there.

EDIT: Garrus avatars shall rule this thread. :P

Maybe Hawke will get the opportunity to take over Starkhaven if we sided with the mages and kept Anders alive, since Sebastian is now an antagonist (in this particular scenerio).

It would be interesting to see someone attempt to unite the Free Marches under one monarch or authority. Bit like herding well armed ****y wealthy cats.

Ooooo, hadn't thought of that(I haven't spared Anders yet). Angry, evil, vengeful Sebastian would be one heckuva bad guy, wouldn't he?

Games out a week give it time. if they announced DLC at this point i'd be mad that they didn't just delay the game to get it and bugs out.

First Law of the BSN Forums: There will at all times be DLC speculation. No exceptions.

Considering he tries to convince Fenris to turn over the mages in your party to the templars, I wasn't on good terms to begin with. Sparing Anders pretty much makes him an antagonist. I'd really love to wrest control of the kingdom from him, I don't think he should be leading people when he couldn't even be the one to avenge the death of his family.

Just finished sparing Anders, and he does say he is going to Starkhaven to gather an army to bring to Kirkwall. And he will show Anders 'true justice". Dark!Seb, I name him! Young bad guy about Kirkwall!

That is what happened in Nevarra and it worked. Considering the increasing pression arround the Marches, an scenario like that would be great. Plus well, seing more places in the Marches other than Kirkwall will be very nice.

I have no desire to see any more of Sebastian's story--at least not in comparison to other stories I'd much rather see expanded on or detailed further. He's not a very interesting character with an even less interesting story. The only thing he has going for him is a cool accent and snazzy armor. He's not even a very useful companion to have in terms of party effectiveness--Varric >>>> Sebastian on all counts.

Cassandra/Leliana DLC >>>> ***ANOTHER*** Sebastian DLC

This. I really hope we see more DLC that continues after the end of DA 2 with Hawke's story similar to what Awakenings did. I don't mind having DLC that encounters events prior to the climax of the story, but there was too much of that with DA: O.

An Expansion needs to be ending neutral so we all can play it after stabbing Anders in the kidney or having Seb storm back to Starkhaven. I say we go to Par Vollenand speak with the Qun to forge an allience or drive them back aiding the Imperium. Or uniting the Marches would be cool. I'll buy it either way ;]

Doesn't drunk Alistair end up in Starkhaven?
If it means more of him then bring on Starkhaven.
