I RECOMEND doing anders first. It makes the whole thing more "OMG DIRE". Besides, he's a sweetie. You reall do feel for him and his plight, even if he is a BIT extreme.

Then, Fenris, for life. "I am yours" *fans self* My current running play through I'm Friendmancing Fenris as pro-sane/anti-blood (sorry merril:( ) mage, It was interesting getting his friendship up, for sure :x

"What has magic touched that it hasn't ruined", Best line durring mage/fen friendmance, because he looks at you and you can just SEE him saying in his mind "I shouldn't have said that, I'm sorry, it hasn't ruined you." before he leaves XD

And, Anders was irritated, "How can you be so 'for the cause', and still be with him! *anders boggle* You should want someone like me!" I simply explained that there's more to Fen then meets the eye. ;p

DEAR BIOWARE. THANK YOU FOR LESS AKWARD SEX SCEENS. BUT I AM AN ADULT, CAN I PLEASE HAVE FENRIS IN UNDER-SHORTS? I NEED FENRIS ABS.

DEAR MOD-COMUNITY. GET WORKING ON THIS PLZ CHOP CHOP. <3

THIS! Specially the modders part...

Fenris is much more interesting, Anders is a whiny **** in this game.

I started a (friendly)romance with Fenris on my mage, but then picked up Anders soon after, so there's even the interactions that confirm the relationship switch. My next playthrough will be dedicated to Fenris though, because I can't resist the temptation after what I started with him. Yumm~! But I want the full punch-to-the-gut effect from seeing the end of the game in a full-blown romance with Anders first.

At least Fenris doesn't bring up his master unless you ask him. Anders is all "oh hai there do you hate templars i sure do and here is my life story on why"

Another victory for the Fenris!

I'd skip Sebastion. I hate the choir boys. He doesn't want to screw. He event wants a chaste marriage in the end. Unfun bastard...

So true...lol

First play through - Anders, just to have that emotional effect like others he said. I didn't read about what he did so he REALLY broke my heart. I only completed the romance because of the achievements (xbox). I had a hard time deciding at first as well and Anders only won because Anders is a returning character.

I'm on the Mage path right now. I wanted to be a walking contradiction (and for achievements) I'm a Mage that support the Templars. I flirted with Anders in act 1 but not in Act 2 so I don't think I can just break his heart now, but I plan on siding with the Templars and I've already romanced Fenris. So worth it, much better and not as whiny.

When I do my warrior one I'm gonna romance them both and then purposely break Ander's heart. That's for stabbing me in the back in the end and try to justify it at the same time

Also, anyone knows exactly how to 'switch' romances? I'm assuming since the romance is only complete when you get to The Last Draw I can pretty much sleep with one, immediately break up with that one and move on to another? How will this affect dialog options?

I haven't played thru all of the options, but the game guide says that it's not wise to flirt with someone other than your LI after you make the beast with two backs.  There are repercussions.  I don't know what, but it says there are.  The guide has been wrong about a few things (WTF Piggyback??? What happened to Prima?) but go there IF YOU DARE.  Posted Image

Wait, wait, wait.  Chaste as in never?  As in not ever?  As in not after getting married?  How does he expect to get an heir?

OMG I was just typing this and I thought "Oh, he believes the story that Wynne was about talking to Alistair, that fade spirits find your babies in the fade and drop them off to their parents!  HA HA HA!  Andraste's flaming sword, Alistair needs to tell him where babies come from!

Um, yeah, pass on the CELIBATE not-warrior monk.  My Hawke needs happy-time on occasion.

I know you can switch from Fenris to Anders after sexytime, but I'm pretty sure you can't go from Anders to Fenris (once you get with Anders, the flirt options for Fenris disappear).

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Just a quick question: Do you know that Anders will blow up the chantry when you agree to help him find the plants for his potion? Is there anyway to stop him from doing it?

I don't know, I'm gonna test this out.  I was in full blown romance with Anders and had the "<3 Don't go" option for Fenris in full blown rivalry.  I should test out to see what he does.

Had you slept with Anders?  I swear those options went away for me, but I must admit I didn't replay it to double check.  It would be cool if you could do that, but it doesn't seem to fit the romances either.

Just do both of them. Act three is actually really short. if you just save right before trigger both romances, get the one you want, finish up act 3, reload the old save and do the other.

Not being a terrorist is definitely a plus in the romance department.

I had no idea what I was doing in my first playthrough and I ended up friend-mancing both Anders and Fenris. My femhawke slept with Fenris first and then he left- so I turned attention to Anders. After the mother quest Fenris came back and his response to my character's grief was so.... cold. I went back to my save and romanced Anders instead just so I could have him come to comfort my rogue. I did find myself yearning for Fenris for the rest of the playthrough, but there was some interesting dialogue between the two boys about it.
I told Anders to leave after the boom and his parting speech made me weep. Bottom line for me: Fenris is so hot I just (ugh) want him, but Anders' friendmance is so tender- until he goes terrorist. Tugs the heartstrings. Needless to say I didn't get an achievement or either of them, but it was fun!

I've romanced Fenris and now trying to romance Anders. However, I keep finding myself sneaking Hawke back over to Fenris. It was that way in DA:O for me too, always stuck to Alistair. I am determined though to try and make it through to romance Anders.

Reject both and opt for living free on the open sea. Leave politics and self importance to pig headed politicians and freedom fighters. The plights of the world can take a back burner after having to down the Arishok.

Isabela is the clear choice.

My male Hawke

"They don't pay me for this ****."
