I've tried searching the 'net on this one and I'm reading mixed input about this.  I refused to let Isabela have the relic, planning to give it to the Arishok at the end of Act 2, and of course, she put herself first and ran off.  She's been greyed out for all of Act 3.

And now I'm reading that the only way to get the final crafting ingredient, ambrosia, is through her Act 3 companion quest.

Has anyone found differently?  And if not, what on earth is Bioware THINKING?

You can only get the scrolls for an achievement if you help anders in his quest. As clone said actions have consequences. Can't do everything in one game.

If it were story relevant, I would agree? But this is simply a crafting resource that, ostensibly, would be available regardless on whether Hawke goes with Isabela into this one location. I've loved everything else about the story and the game so far, but this feels forced.

As it is, it locks out an entire potion type. I don't care about the achievement.
