I know this question has been addressed in other threads but i can't seem to find them, and the other fangirls in the dedicated Fenris topic have ignored me twice now so I thought I would ask here.
I finished the game but can't seem to find it. A few guides have said it's in one of the rooms during the "Best served cold" quest, only I've looted everything and can't find it. What room/area is it supposed to be located in? Another forum said it was supposed to be in a master chest but I can't find any master chests I haven't looted.
I'm hoping I didn't accidently sell it, but none of the other gift items, like Fenris' book or Merril's carved statue were in my inventory for me to sell so I don't know if that is possible.
Where is Fenris' second gift?

The Blade of Mercy can´t be sold, until you completed the quest. I´m not sure where it was, but i think in Act 3. If you really missed it, you might use the console to get it, without having to start a new game.

It's in a quest called Best Served Cold in Act 3, I think.

er well i'm on the 360 so i cant really use console cheats. i am in act 3 and completed the 'best served cold' quest to my knowledge. all the areas are still unlocked though, but when i go to re-explore the areas it's all looted already. i'm very thorough when it comes to picking up stuff which is why i was surprised i couldn't find it.

In the fish stock room? i've searched that room at least five times and i cannot find a chest or barrel or anything to loot. does it disappear after the quest? ):

In the docks where you fight a bunch of slavers and Keran talks to you about kidnapping your sibling, there's a chest somewhere in the corner. That's where the Blade of Mercy is.

I suspect the game reload "treasures" with each quest, especially quest related items. I didn't find Fenris first gift, the book, I went to search for it in Act 3, can't find it.

I know the book is found in a temporary dungeon you can access in Act 2. The dungeon stays there for the remainder of the act, but i have no idea if the treasure respawns or loots itself if you miss something. Once act 3 rolls around the dungeon is gone though.

actually i confused myself and was thinking of his personal quest that has anders' gift in it.
i just double checked the room again and nothing there. interestingly enough my hawke found a trap and alerted to it, however there was nothing on my screen. i have a full romance with fenris as well i just wanted to see the cutscene

You can find the book in a sack at night in Lowtown - Elven Alienage. Here's what I was talking about on how to get the second gift.

I'm having the exact same problem, I don't think it has a resolution either. There is a sack where the chest should be. I really hope that the romance can be finished without the second gift.

My problem is that I never find his first gift in the sack in the Alienage at night. I think I've opened the sack too early, and it doesn't respawn with Fenris' gift for me during or after his quest.
