Well its official that the DAO community was split into two groups with the way DA 2 was designed.  I cant fault Bioware for downscaling the scope of the final objective or for giving our character a voice.  I personally enjoyed hearing my descisions spoken instead of just replied to.  As far as the soap opera theme it was a definate change of pace.  I loved the faster paced combat and the time they put into making transitions from one enemy to another.  And whats this  the Arishok handed me my ass on normal the first time i fought him.(thanks)  I cant remember dying one time in DAO on normal or hard.  As far as companions go great list minus Anders.  At the end of the game i felt like the FBI was going to kick down my door for harboring a "nothing will change unless i kill a lot of people" terrorist.   I want my smart mouth sarcastic mage back dammit.

However, the amount of bugs just seems higher in DA2 than in DAO.  It may just be me but they are just more simple and annoying bugs now than in the past.  Also the amount of gameplay is what like HALF of DAO.  I remember finishing DAO for the first time without doing all the side quests with a time of 50 some odd hours.  It felt like 25 or 30.  Could be that the entire game takes place in a 5 mile radius i dunno (w/o intro and dark roads).  So everyone loved DAO in one way or the other be it Morrigan and Lilliana, various backgrounds, scope of the battle, wardens, etc etc.  But what do we love about DA2?  I love the combat pace.  Attacks are much faster, Isabella for well she's a well you know and i am partial to women, Merrill with the scottish accent was to adoreable, and the fact that you play a part in changing Thedas' future forever that doesnt involve a possessed dragon.  As far as the ending in which so many people find themselves at a loss, angry, or just flat out dissappointed?

Use some imagination.  Bioware has been doing this a long long time.  Bioware showing us a fan favorite in Lilliana at the end was a massive shock to us all.  That will mean something.  The Hero of Ferelden and the Champion of Kirkwall are both gone?  Thats incredible!  For those of you that played the Witch Hunt DLC for DAO know that Morrigan steps through an Eluvian at the end and wait, whats this there is the exact Eluvian from the Dalish elf warden path from DAO in Kirkwall.  Chances of being able to play both your warden from DAO and Hawke at the same time or pitting them against each other with Morrigan's "son" lurking in the background?!?!  YOU SEE.  Outside of the box is amazing.  Think in terms of a story teller rather than a reader and the possibilities are endless.  Too many dice rollers and not enough Dungeon Masters in my opinion  lol.  So all in all the game has its ups and downs.  It could be worse though....

It could be Blizzard and not Bioware making this chain and where would we be then?  looking at a bigger raid boss and still screaming at each other "DONT STAND IN THE FIRE!!!"

No no Scottish is different. England for being such a small area has quite a bit of different accents.

 Scottish for ya.

You should edit the top post and format it properly. It's an ugly brick of text as it is and it's hard to read for it.

I will say this, it'll take place in Orlais. There's the rumors you hear about it from the bartender, Alistair talks about them, the Grey Wardens talk about them, the Talking Golem Merchant (at the end of a cave near the Dalish Camp in Act 2 and 3) talks about how "the Stone lives under Orlais."

There's a ton of hints that Orlais is next.
