In an attempt to alter this mod to meet my needs, I've run into a bit of a snag. Please bear with me, since I am pretty much a modding newbie.

From what I can tell in the item_variations.gda, the original mod's author simply went through and set the Champion Armor string for each class to 'arm_nuda', 'glv_nuda' & 'boo_nuda' so the Champion is basically in their underwear. What I'm trying to do is get rid of what I think is the outfit the player wears while at home (the Hugh Hefner-looking smoking jacket, pants and slippers).

I thought going in and altering the "Player Home Clothing" (line 239 in the item_variations) with 'arm_nuda' might take it away, but it remains unchanged. I don't know if this is because it's not an actual piece of clothing (since you cannot take it off) and is instead a body model being switched out, or if I am missing a step somewhere in the savegame_appearance (since the mod's author says that this should set all the companions to underwear and currently, only Hawke is - but it might be that I need to play as the author's character, which I do not want to do.)

Ideally, what I'd like is for Hawke and a few of the companions (but I'd settle for just Hawke) to be dressed like this when they are in their home base (I think lore-wise it'd only make sense for Fenris and Merrill, as they have their own homes. After all, it'd be a bit strange to have Anders in his clinic in his underwear, or Sebastian in the Chantry).

I know this is probably very low end, easy modding that I should be able to figure out, but I've tried throwing the arm_nuda flag on most of the likely suspects and it still won't turn off. Humorously, I did manage to turn off Hawke's armor in the intro with arm_nuda (it's Heavy Start Armor, #193 - I wonder why Varric didn't tell the story this way!?) Anyway... help, please?

Yes, I really don't like femhawke's indoor outfit ... that knee-length skirt is awful... I hope someone will come up with the mod to alter the indoor outfit soon.

This might be doable for the PC but not for NPC companions. The PC has a different entry for what model to use when at home whereas companions don't. There is some modding that can be done to automatically replace the home clothing with the "nude" mesh but there are problems as shown below:

The main problem here is that the home clothing aka cth_homa is a single model as compared to every other piece of equipment which is a combination of arm_, boo_ and glv_. The file you want to look for is apr_base.gda. If you leave the fields for Home empty, Hawke will show up in whatever gear you are wearing (or not wearing) at the time.

This would be a really nice mod. I hate the "home clothes" and would much prefer underwear for both male and female hawke.

Thank you so much, KwanGong! I appreciate you taking the time to reply - now at least my Hawke is in his regular armor inside the house. I'm going to keep poking at it, maybe I can accomplish something.

I'm not interested in underwear at home, but it would be nice to wear something other than the bathrobe-skirt-nonsense.

@Sresla: For your mod on DANexus, you may want to release a .gda that extends apr_base.gda. Delete every other line but the two home entries and save the file as apr_<someothername>.gda. It should override only those two entries, rather than the entire file.

Nope, I like em too.. well, for fem!Hawke, have not seen the male one yet. Different color variants would be nice!

Color variations are basically all I ask for. I don't *mind* the home clothes, but I'd definitely choose a different colored set given the option.

Spotted this on the Nexus site, only for males at the moment but they say that they are working on female.

I don't think they're that bad. One thing I would do (for the female Hawke) would be to place her in high-heeled boots, but that's just a personal preference.

Alternate colors would be nice as well.

More people need to start doing this, or else mods are going to start conflicting like mad.

I don't dislike them, per se...

Scratch that. I do dislike them. Not the whole thing, mind you, just the top. I like the skirt well enough, and the boots are nice. It's the tacky bathrobe that I loathe. Why can't I wear a nice blouse?
