"SANDAL" is the protagonist of DA3, it's inevitable. Game will be set in Orlais.

- DA2 featured Hawke the champion of Kirkwall, defeated the Arishok
- DA3 will feature Anders, the new god of Thedas, destroyer of Chantry and bringer of peace of prosperity.

That will only happen if bioware decide to retcon players choices again.

Without hesitation, the guy was an extremeist and took the lives of the innocent. I disliked him throughout the course of DA2, even though he was my favourite in Awakening.

Either a completely new protagonist or Hawke. I don't really want to see any more Warden, his/her story ended just fine.

And the conversation wheel will have three options: (Good) "Enchantment?", (Neutral) Enchantment!", and (Evil) "Enchantment."

At the end of Mass Effect 3 Shepard will chase the last few Reapers through a TIME VORTEX!!! He will then crash onto the earth and when he opens the door to find Hawke standing there. Dragon Age 3 will open with a battle between Hawke's companions and Shepard's. Soon after the will realize they're both good guys and team up to battle the Reapers.

Let's not forget that one of the developers flat out says, "We are certainly not done with Morrigan's story," in GameInformer. At some point in the series, Morrigan will return and if Witch Hunt is considered canon and isn't retconned, she'll come back with the Warden. Whether it's in DA3 or DA50, the Warden and Hawke's paths are definitely going to cross. There are just too many flags in DA2 for them to not meet.
Some are:
-Flemeth - There's just no way her appearance in DA2 didn't mean something. We already know that whether you choose to let her live or kill her in DAO doesn't matter because Hawke saves her life on Sundermount. She's connected to both main characters and I think she's going to play a major role in a future game that will bring the two together.
-Leliana's quote at the end. It really seemed as if she was saying that the two characters are destined to meet and possibly save the world together. If they aren't together throughout the entire game, I would love to see a game told through both their perspectives. Hawke tries to bring order back to Kirkwall, ground zero for the catastrophe, Warden in Ferelden. The choices you make through one character have effects that trickle into the other character's setting.
-Cassandra, the Chantry, and, most likely, many other groups and organizations are on the search for Hawke. Some must want his head, others desperately want their champion to return. If you chose to side with the mages in DA2, then the templars will surely want Hawke dead. Knowing that there's a wide search going on for Hawke, he's definitely coming back.
