What? Isn't it obvious? I can't believe people are even having this discussing.

"SANDAL" is the protagonist of DA3, it's inevitable. Game will be set in Orlais.

Mmmm...

- Origins featured the hero of Ferelden, slayer of the arch demon.
- DA2 featured Hawke the champion of Kirkwall, defeated the Arishok

- DA3 will feature Anders, the new god of Thedas, destroyer of Chantry and bringer of peace of prosperity.

That will only happen if bioware decide to retcon players choices again.

Sandal.

And the conversation wheel will have three options: (Good) "Enchantment?", (Neutral) Enchantment!", and (Evil) "Enchantment."

Without hesitation, the guy was an extremeist and took the lives of the innocent.  I disliked him throughout the course of DA2, even though he  was my favourite in Awakening.

I would love to continue more with Hawke, I loved my Warden too from DA:O but I kind of felt she had done her story, where as Hawke i`ve become a bit more attached to as you play the character over a wider time frame in DA:2 (Origins all happened pretty much in a year, where as in DA:2 we have around a 10 year time frame) and as a result I felt I knew Hawke better as a character having played him out over a much bigger time frame of his life and he feels more solid as a character than my Warden. Would still like to see some interaction with the Wardens at some point, and would be great if your warden from DA:O made an appearance in DA:3, maybe even having them become a companion for some of it, although guess that may be asking a lot as they would have to record voices for all the race combinations that your DA:O warden could have been. So I don`t think for that reason DA:3 will ever have our own Warden appear as companion or even a cameo.

Yeah he was a little extreme but he did blow up the Chantry, which makes him a decent bloke to have around in my book. Thanks and will check it out on my next playthrough ;)

I think Hawke will make a return in DA3. Even though I would REALLY like to have a choice of races for my character this time.

Either a completely new protagonist or Hawke. I don't really want to see any more Warden, his/her story ended just fine.

Not mentioning some wardens are DEAD. You know, at the end of DA:O.

They can always ignore it tough. They did it a lot on DA2. I see dead people. All over. The place.

Sandal

Way too OP. The guy is immortal!

Eventually, you find out Hawke was actually the one who died against the Ogre and he was a ghost all along.

The story is open ended they can go virtually anywhere they like from the position they left it at. You could have a third dragon age which had the following:

1. Hawke returns as the lead.
2. The Warden returns as the lead.
3. New Character, 100% fresh.
4. You play as the "seeker" from the cut scenes and follow the path/story of the above mentioned characters.
5. You select Hawke or the Warden and play the story through with either.
6. You select both Hawke and the Warden and play with them together.
7. You select both Hawke and the Warden and play seperate views of the same story line with them.
8. etc, etc etc.

The possibilities are near endless speculation at this stage is pointless too. Anders wasn't even an original character and he played an ever increasingly important role in all the content to follow.so we may meet "bob the rogue" in some DLC who becomes the lynchpin for dragon age 3, who knows?

I wouldn't mind Hawke coming back in an expansion, but for DA3, I would like a new hero. There's still a lot of world left to explore.

I don't mind being a Seeker but I don't want to be Cassandra. Having her as a "mentor" would be ok though.

A seeker of some sort makes the most sense with the ending.

At the end of Mass Effect 3 Shepard will chase the last few Reapers through a TIME VORTEX!!! He will then crash onto the earth and when he opens the door to find Hawke standing there. Dragon Age 3 will open with a battle between Hawke's companions and Shepard's. Soon after the will realize they're both good guys and team up to battle the Reapers.

As much as I would love to see a warden+hawk combo, it would be a difficult thing to achieve.

Like voicing the warden. Lol the forums would explode.

Eh. My hopes anyways.

Kinda hoping for Hawke. Say all you will about options and choices for the Warden, Hawke just felt more ... real. The variable personality mechanic was as much part of that as the voice acting (and very Alpha Protocol, IMO, which is a good thing). He's grasped his Destiny in DA2. Now, it's time for him to _shape it_.

Let's not forget that one of the developers flat out says, "We are certainly not done with Morrigan's story," in GameInformer. At some point in the series, Morrigan will return and if Witch Hunt is considered canon and isn't retconned, she'll come back with the Warden. Whether it's in DA3 or DA50, the Warden and Hawke's paths are definitely going to cross. There are just too many flags in DA2 for them to not meet.

Some are:
-Flemeth - There's just no way her appearance in DA2 didn't mean something. We already know that whether you choose to let her live or kill her in DAO doesn't matter because Hawke saves her life on Sundermount. She's connected to both main characters and I think she's going to play a major role in a future game that will bring the two together.
-Leliana's quote at the end. It really seemed as if she was saying that the two characters are destined to meet and possibly save the world together. If they aren't together throughout the entire game, I would love to see a game told through both their perspectives. Hawke tries to bring order back to Kirkwall, ground zero for the catastrophe, Warden in Ferelden. The choices you make through one character have effects that trickle into the other character's setting.
-Cassandra, the Chantry, and, most likely, many other groups and organizations are on the search for Hawke. Some must want his head, others desperately want their champion to return. If you chose to side with the mages in DA2, then the templars will surely want Hawke dead. Knowing that there's a wide search going on for Hawke, he's definitely coming back.

A s much as I want it to be the warden, I'm hoping it will not. Because if they do, they will more than likely voice him/her.

Then us forum goers are the ones that suffer at the hands of rage.
