I just updated my game using the official 1.01 patch that was made available and I think I may have discovered a bug, but whether it was introduced with the patch or not is something I can't be sure of as I hadn't encountered this bug in the initial release.

During the Wayward Son quest, I had just finished fighting the enemies that you first meet at the Docks and Fenris just leveled up. I had just pushed his hot key to switch to him before going into his character screen and leveling him up. As soon as I was finished, I then went back to the game and immediately switched back to Hawke.

However after switching back to Hawke, I can no longer do anything because the cursor is now permanently a talk icon. When I left click, all it does is switch to Fenris whether my cursor is on him or not.

You can see a screenshot of what I'm talking about here and even though you can't actually see it, the cursor is near the top of the screen where it was left hovering on the scenery rather than something that could actually be selected. i3.photobucket.com/albums/y58/OutRider2003/da2-patch-bug.png

Has anyone else encountered anything like this?
