Started a game of DAO as a human noble.   Saved game very near the begining so I could use the toolset to change inventory size. When I tried to reload the game, I got the 'Unable to load module' message.  Have tried several times, with fresh characters, and reinstalled the game more than once now.  Currently only have official DLC, patched to 1.04, and awakening installed.  (no hair mods!  the cc looks so plain!)  Still am unable to load a game in noble origin story from a save at all.  All other origins seem unaffected, as I was able to create, save, and successfully load them.


Edit:  Before someone directs me to the common trouble shooting problems thread, I've already done everything listed under #4, plus as I said fresh installs x3 (or am I up to 4 now?  I've lost count).  No dice, still can't load into the noble origin.

Update:

I just checked a save from Noble Origin for a character that is already past Ostagar, and was able to load into Noble Origin fine from that character. So whatever is wrong seems to only be affecting new characters/saves.

I've had that problem too, have you discovered anything about that?

My guess would be that using the console broke the save, a known danger of using the console. It is very easy to accidentally change something you didn't mean to or change something to an invalid value.

If your issue is unrelated to console use, fill out a problem report as detailed in the "Read First" thread pinned to the top of the forum and someone might be able to help.
