K so I'm curious. Since we all know DA2 will take place over 10 years what do you guys think about DA3? I know i'm jumping the gun on it, but I'm just curious. ANY OPINION WILL BE ALLOWED! PLEASE NO FLAMING! [/i]

The game was great! the only thing is it was like Mass Effect :| because of the wheel dialog  xD it went a bit far don't you think. The Graphics where Great! so what will be the changes in DA3 >:] and the story line! any suggestions?

well i hope their going to make another dragon age the only thing is that it was a bit to far Dragon Effect though xD but still it was an epic game :3

They will definitely make one, hopefully one that finds the right balance between DAO and DA2, More so towards the former. But I personally liked Hawke, as well as voice acting, style and graphics of the game. DAO was much more satisfying though tactically

The pregnancy storyline will probably depend on if you chose that option or not.

I sincerely doubt they will not make a Dragon Age 3, or at least some DLC and an expansion pack. There has been [some] positive reception after all.

yeah liked the game Bioware wants us to guess what will happen next Like the graphics good thing they improved it and hawke having a voice not like in DAO the only thing is that DA2 is like Mass Effect with the wheel dialog and The Renegade and Paragon choice it went a bit out of hand.

Sure they'll be a third Dragon Age. That's like asking, "Bioware, are you going to make more money?" I honestly hope they just keep introducing new heroes with each sequel. Be pretty cool if DA3 takes place in the Tevinter Imperium.

I haven't finished DA2 yet but for me it's kind of boring (It's so hard to say that). So even if I don't know how this game will end at the moment I want to play the warden in Dragon Age 3. Hawk is ok but it's not the same experience I've had with the warden. The waves of enemys don't allow any tactical fight and....... no I don't want to mention all the negative aspects you guys know them for sure.

So yes there will be a Dragon Age 3 but I'm sure this will be the last DA if they trick rpg-players again. So sorry

Dragon age 3 - mabye you play as slade? (i think thats his name) the grey warden commander you meet in DA2 ~(who is off the investigate a great threat), and hawke and hero of fereldan you dont have in your party but will be commanders featured in the story line. it all depends if DA3 will be a climactic ending to the trilogy or just another stepping stone. I feel the qunari have a role to play in the overall story. Judging by the way they are using mass effct as a template you'll probably have to travel the world uniting all races under one banner to fight a great evil!!! the standard epic story from bioware, would be nice to go to all the main cities of all the different factions, but they would have to spend a hell of a lot more time producing it !! (cough) roll on skyrim!

Nah. I rather start off as someone completely unimportant who grows into a big power player. I mean Hawke is awesome in that he starts off as a refugee and then becomes the Champion of Kirkwall. Even the Warden started off in relatively humble backgrounds and then he become the Hero of Ferelden.

Whatever they do, I hope we get more options for our character like say...the body. I want to be a five foot nothing guy with a giant sword and anger issues damnit!

I hope so. It just has to be a lot better than DA2. Hawke and the warden are missing. Flemeth vs Morrigan. I want it to continue along those lines there. Not skip across the map to another new hero that means nothing to me.

Good luck with that, I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon Age 3 is a linear corridor rpg in order to save even more money.

Two? How about four? Firstly, they are going to release a lot of DLCs that'll probably continue the DA2 story (and I'm hoping they're smart enough to release a dungeon pack).

After that, they need to rebuild Dragon Age from the ground up. I mean, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, Dragon Age is a two dimensional world. What I mean is that you can only travel across the X and Y Axis but there is no Z Axis. They just use tricks to make it look like there is a Z Axis. Combat needs to change, as cool as the action based combat is, all they did was take out auto-attack and gave two handed weapons an arc (as well as certain talents).

They also need to bring back the ability to choose your race and background. I get it, you did that so you wouldn't have to worry about having a bunch of Voice Overs. Firstly, there is no reason you need to change the voices for each race. Secondly, there are tools that can change the tone and pitch of the voice. Oh, and would you please give me the ability to customize more than just my head?

Gawd, with the cliffhanger at the end of DA2 I would certainly hope so. The story is getting better and better! It's going to be another lonnnggg 1 or 2 years waiting for it to come out though! *le sigh* I do hope that they continue the story of Hawke though. That would be amazing...

I'm pretty sure that the cliffhanger is intended to be an openning for DLCs not for a Dragon Age III.

There has to be. There are still so many questions to answer, not to mention a whole world we need to explore. I really hope they let either be Hawke, or even better the warden. The have this whole big story started so I hope they don't make us start as a new hero in a new place. You can only have so many legends.
They need to expand the game tho. I don't want to stay rooted in the same spot for 60 some hours again. I want to actually explore the world. I hope the ykeep the fast paced combat though, More then anything I hope they dont rush this one. I'm willing to wait three or four years for another game as good as Origins.

Wow... Hoping for a Dragon Age III is only the beginning of my hopes... I honoustly hope the story never ends hehe... Okay i suppose hoping for a bit much, but the Dragon Age series is proving to be one of greatest yet and yes, it is also my favorite series ever. Some of the stuff I've just read ^ I don't understand and some i completely agree with, for instance; what is honoustly so bad about the speech wheel? I think it's brilliant... All the available speech is where I want it to be and I know then where to get it, unlike in DA:O where I had to read everythng to make a choice... Well...er... I still do read all the options, but that's not the point... And that's actually the real only big comparison I found between Dragon Age and Mass Effect + is it really that bad to find comparison? What's wrong with that? They're from the same company so naturally you'd find similarities? And they both are EPIC!!!!! so what's the problem... And i don't see why some of you guys think they were pressed for time with DA2, the game turned out quite spectacular and I can't wait to see what they have instore... Oh yeah! I almost forgot... Stuff I agree with ^ is that I never understood why voice acting had to be the reason racial class fell away... I can honoustly picture both the Hawke voices on an Elf... Perhaps it is because the Champion of Kirkwall story had to be with a human as main, but still... Also I would too have liked to see more customization in DA2... I missed giving my party members different armour... And yap, I also hope that in the next D.A there'll be the option to change ur body and structure a bit...

a valid reason to don't puchase it.. look what they did with the sequel in 1 year.....
