its startin to tick me off why when i import a nwn2 model in a model eddititor such as g max and blender then export it when i try to load it up in game it crashes the game at first it was only if i eddited vertices which if i cant do that then really i cant make anything to use in game thats different but ok maybey im just editing wrong or something or maybey i missed something but now even if i dont change anything or anything it crashes the game when i try to load it up in game.
at first things were working i took the katana model and cloned it renaming it so a katana was useable as a raapier a schimitar and as a kama using blender but now with gmax mainly things arent working well i take that back with paint. net i gave a couple new heads different colors and even colored the eyes differently and as long as i dont put the models in a 3d editor they work in game but there is a wierd two tone verticle split in my heads after i edited the dds in paint.net but they still work is what is important to me at this moment but i just cant figure out the errors from 3d drawing programs wich bugs me cuz im not a good modeler at all i can move the original vertices to make biger wider blades sometimes even shape variations and i can move vertices to make arse length hair an stuff it worked in nwn1 but i need to use 2 for what i want to make rite now lol
but anyways yes i do have the mdb cloner and im using it right yes i am using the overide folder for now for testing purposes but yea i dont understand why it isnt working like i want it too so thanks an sorry i ramble lol

just checked again last nite its happening with blender too now i copy and pasted hair 4 mdl and the 3 dds files from the data archives into the override folder launched mdb cloner i also saved the 3 dds files under a new name first and then used the mdb cloner and saved the hair 4 clone under a new name i chose hair 40 for all of them i followed the naming schemes i then launched the game and tested the hair 40 slot had a clone of hair 4 all good so far then i loaded it into blender i changed nothing i did nothing put it in and then i exported it to overwrite the clone and launched again chose the hair 40 slot crash.....help

thanks yea i figured that just had to update the post now im confirming it does it in both blender and gmax and it happens even if i dont edit anything
