ok this is a script i want i have tried it many ways and it dont work i finaly managed to get the on item activate part working but the script wont work  im trying to make a unique item power script  eventualy i want the script to fire from an actvatible feat one day but for now the item method will suffice  

target an area with the device (or feat  eventualy)  vfx over the pc either darkness or dustcloud  teleport to target location  vfx before the pc appears preferabley a long range activation capable if its possible but thats it simple script kinda but it wont work no matter what i do,  the item does fire the script  it even went so far as to teleport the pc to the targeted area but then he ported right back to the spot he left  so  the vfx wont play and the port dont work qwite rite

Perhaps you could post the code? That would help with trying to figure out why these things are happening.

kool thank you,   yea i was gonna post the code but ive already deleted it tried again and deleted again a few times even lol like i said the script did fire when i used the item i put a line in to test it  that spoke a string telling me the script fired but for some reason the script ignored my vfx both with and without delays and like i said the teleport in one of my lasts tests i did teleport to my target location but i jumped rite back to where i ported from  and the location was valid and the area baked i made sure of all that too it was wierd. error was somewhere in the script but i cant figure out where.   ill look at that script for the rod of teleport tho and see if that will help me figure things out thanks for pointing that item out too me   cheers

thank you very much for pointing that teleport system out to me i pasted the script over my named item script and ported around flawlessly thank  you also looking at it may help me in the future so thats kool
