I'm fairly new to modding, but I'm trying to replace other elves' facial structure with Fenris' while keeping their hairstyles/hair/eye color intact.
Here is the fruit of my labor so far (me giving Jethann the elven gigolo in the Blooming Rose a Fenris makeover). My process has been to use the pyGFF editor to manually change the values for hairstyle/color/eyes.
I haven't been able to figure out how to remove the Fenris tattoos, though. So far I've attempted to search Fenris's .mor file for the field values in the pyGFF editor that go something like art\\characters\\playercharacter\\shared\\heads\\textures\\mt_tat_pmta_0t since I figured those would be the tattoos, and deleting all the entries in the .mor that give textures. No luck so far, though.
I've also tried using the DA Face Replacer to only copy over specific parts of the .mor files, but with the Face Replacer I haven't even been able to exclude any parts(I get a save error).
Also, if people know of a way to edit existing faces in the cc without resetting the slider values that would be great! I've been following the procedure as detailed here to edit existing .mor in the cc, but as I said in that thread, the only part that seems to be preserved in the renaming from .mor to .mop is the hairstyle.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
