Does this rogue talent apply to ranged attacks as well? I'm asking because I have Varric spec'd into it and can't tell if it works.

I don't know honestly. I can't tell the difference. Whether it's working or not, it definitely seems to be a waste of points.

Yes, it works, however bows (and especially Bianca) are much slower than daggers, so the benefits are much less than daggers.
