I did pursued the romance with Merill and asked her to move in. One thing I have noticed so far is that she is never actually present at the mansion whenever I go there. Is there any point where she is actually there because it really still seems that her homebase is still the elven alienage even though she "moved in". Just doesn't seem like much of a romance if the most interaction you get out of the person is one night and one bit of dialogue with some other party member referring to it. The armor change is cool and all, but was simply wondering if there is more of an interaction later for sake of the story and choices made. Fun game though but would be cool to see more interaction with that though I'm sure it'll prolly never happen.

At some point she does move in. She is always standing outside your bedroom, on the landing above the writing desk. In effect, whether you go to your place or hers, she is there too. I forget if I had to do anything specific; maybe talk to her back at her place one last time?
There's just a tiny bit more interaction. Less than in DA:O, where you could always go back and "refresh the missus" in camp over and over.

I LOL'd at that. Thanks for the response I'll try speaking at her place to see what happens.

until you do her final quest she wont be in the estate during the day, bodhan will mention where she is when you enter, she tells you why at the start of act 3, but she is highly bugged in act 3 when romanced

"Not much of a romance" is kind of the name of the game in DA2, sadly. It seems like it was kind of included on a token basis. Granted, for my money, Bioware has yet to match the Bastila romance from KotOR.

Thanks for the replies. I finally got her there in Act III. Seems she only has armor to wear and nothing casual for indoors.
I just thought of the word I was searching for. It's a case of immersion as far as these cosmetic things go. The game is fun though and am enjoying it. Looking forward to the modders to fix some of these things like in DA:O. I'm guessing that's when a higher volume of interesting things come about.
