So, any chance someone could create an evolving Templar armor and shield set? The "Knight-Templar Regalia" is quite nice, but it's a definite act 3 or so to wear it.

Eh, don't see what the big deal is with Meredith's armor... I mean her hood is cool, but the armor? It's just generic looking metal plate to me.

Is this armor that is obtained normally by a player, or is it armor thats found only on an NPC?

I think they are talking about Meredith's body mesh, not the Templar Heavy Plate you see everywhere.

 the armor im thinking of is the stuff you get for siding with meredith at the end of act 2

Some kind of confirmation of exactly what armor this is is needed before I go digging through 1800 item files to find 4...

Not sure how many you actually get. I got a few pieces on my last playthough, but only right near the end. Even if you get it changed, you'd have to use the console to give it to you.

Besides that however, I would make it the Knight-Templar Regalia. The trouble with the helm, boots and gloves is there are like 6 of each, with slightly different names and requirements. They come in Heavy and Light, and those two types come in both normal, enchanted, and superior.

That said, I would like to see an evolving set with a few rune slots and maybe bonuses myself.

All I know is I used Vaddin (is linked in these forums, not sure what page it's on now)  to get the Knight-Templar Regalia (it's only a chest, as said above, the boots, gloves, helm, and shield are just random generated equipment)... it lets you search based on item name, not just the game codes.

I'd very much like to see something like this. I've just started my extremely pro-templar warrior playthrough and I'm trying to figure out how to change both armors and shields to look like templar-equipment. Something like this would make it much simpler.

If that's not possible, then could someone please post the item codes for some of the templar-looking items in the game. I never found a templar armor in my first playthrough, but I believe I found a great shield called Mage's Friend. (it was late in act 3 though, so Aveline, my tank barely got to use it).

I'd really like the item code for Mage's Friend and any other templar looking items please. Or a mod that add them directlky would be great as well.

This forum post has an addon that allows you to search all the items in the game based on their name, no need to know codes.

For example, you could type runscript vaddin Regalia

and it would come up with a "container" with "Knight-Templar Regalia" in it for you to take.

The only problem it has is it's unable to generate magical enchanted items and things are default level, so for example, if you search for "Templar" you'll get a bunch of templar items with no enchanments that your level 1 character can equip.

This does NOT however apply to unique named items. Those will be generated with full stats and enchantments (like the KNight-Templar Regalia I mentioned)

Funny story, I actually JUST started using the addon that you mentioned, but thanks anyways. I'm trying it out as we speak. Now I just have to level up to be able to use most items.

That's great for just getting them. But as far as I can tell, you still need the item code to actually mod them and make them, say, evolving with a few rune slots. Maybe some magic resist properties or something too, if possible.

Ok, so apparently I was wrong about the Mage's Friend looking like a templar shield. The shield I was thinking of I only found at the end of act 3. I could have sworn I found it in Meredith's office right before the final battle, but I've never been able to find it again after my first playthrough of the final battle. Maybe it has something to do with who you side with? Does anyone know what shield I'm talking about? I'd really appriciate it if I could get the name of it.

there is already mod to get Merediths armor to replace BloodDragon armor but it is only for females.
I really would like to get that armor she wears but the boots need to replaced, they arent just that armory for my liking

After having fiddled around with various shields, my only conclusion can be that the templar shield I found at the end of act 3 was 'Shield of the Resolute', found in the Templar Halls just before the final battle. However, I must have been experienceing some strange bug the first time i got it since it looked identical to an ordinary templar shield. That's why I though I couldn't find it the second time around. I found the Shield of the Resolute again, but it looked different, so I didn't think it was the same shield.

Since I think it's waaaaaay to much trouble to change the apperance of items every time I find a new armor or a new shield I'm therefor giving up on my templar-themed character until a mod like the one requested in this thread is created.

Here's to hoping that some kind soul will make it happen some day.

Alright, so this post kinda got lost in the lower pages, and I lost track of it. Sorry!

So I am looking at the Regalia and its just a chest plate? Are there other parts to this as a set or is it just the chest plate?
