Is the data from DA2 not being sent to the forums yet like new profile pic options, stats, abilities and achievements?

It is.

1. Go to your profile (press on your avatar)
2. Select 'Games'
3. Find 'Dragon Age II - Player Profiles (Activate Online Profiles)' headline
4. Select 'Activate Online Profiles'
5. Your Dragon Age 2 profiles should appear at the very same spot

I did this several times and my profile is still not appearing, I've even tried it while logged in on Dragon Age 2... What am I missing here?

It should work fine. My DA2 Online Profile has allowed activation right after the very first play session of DA2 (on both PC and Xbox 360).

So no idea what could be missing in your situation. Sorry. What if you selected 'Activate Online Profiles' and checked the situation in a few hours or in a day? :-)

I only have this ava from my first play through of DA:O. I don't have the other two. I did what you said to with DA2. So I guess I'll have to wait and see if anything happens.

There might be some problems on the Bioware/EA's end.

You may try contacting EA's Customer Support but I highly doubt they could solve your problem.

I hope everything turns out well ;-)

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't want to spend loads of money on a phone call to correct this. =/

Occasionally, like mine has now, my Hawke will appear as Merrill. I wish I knew why and how to get it back to the Hawke I made.

O just go to EA Customer Support website and submit a  ticket and you'll be given two options: submit it via e-mail or use the live chat

I just tried the live chat and apparently the old gamer tag I used before I changed it to my current tag isn't on their records. So there is no way to help me with the sync-ing up problem. =/

I had the same problem.  My account on this site was linked to an old gamertag's email address, so it wasnt sending over the profile data. 

All i had to do to fix it was change the email address of my current gamertag to match the one i use for EA/Bioware, or vice versa, which you can do at http://login.live.com/ for your gamertag, or https://profile.ea.com/  for your EA/Bioware account.

If you have the same email address for those, you should be fine.

They are both the same address. I just double checked.

Apparently they never had my old gamertag in their date base. Which is odd considering I have evidence confirming other wise.

Seems BioWare/EA just don't like me. D:

Did you ever link your new gamertag to your EA account? If not you can do that by going to your account section at https://profile.ea.com/ , click on Add Persona in the Select Default Persona section and put in your xbox gamertag.

No idea if this will help, but it might. Goodluck!

I changed my old gamertag to my current with microsoft points. So it's the same account with different name. And it is linked up to it. D:

I think it happens if you happen to be controlling the said character when the page updates. The same happened to me, except it was for Varric rather than Merrill, and that was the conclusion that I came to.

While my character profile seems to update frequently and without issue, I've noticed that the armor, gloves, and boots description has never changed from the default rough leather. Weapons, jewelry and belt all seem to update correctly though.

well i cant get this to work no matter what i do. where does it show you the info about your DA2 character? i have clicked the activate online profiles link but the page just kinda flickers a bit but still looks the same, and whats the point of it anyway ? just to show what a nice big sword/staff/duel weapons you have ?.

ok, i held down "left SHIFT" and "left Ctrl" to unblock popups and then clicked the activate link, now i can pick my DA2 character as my profile pic, as you can see on the left ( move eyes to left now )

but thats all it seems to do.
oh well, back to playing DA2 i have a hidden lair to find.
