This is the first time ever I am saying this to anyone, but Windkun, you are a pathetic "fanboy" (or a troll).

I don't think any Bioware employee types like that, or maybe these pr guys are getting smarter at imitating forum users?

Your ridiculous paranoia makes Loghain look carefree, you know that?

Uh, actually, if you open the toolset and look at the text - I've seen some things there (spelling, grammar, wording) that made my eyes water. And I'm not even a native speaker...

But your comparison was made of WIN and made me LOL!

Glad to be of service. Haven't I read some awesome Loggy fan fiction by you?

He might also have created a new account because he's afraid of saying something on the social forums BioWare or EA doesn't like, resulting in getting a permanent ban for the first offence, which would also lock him out of his DLC content and basically prevent him from playing the game he paid for.  I've heard of a few occasions where that happened (although I think the details of the offences may have been downplayed, but I wasen't directly involved so I can't really comment on the severity of the offences either way).

Either way, I completly agree with your post OP and I'm glad you bumped it so I could see it and comment.

For DA2 a toolset is one of the most sought after things in the modding community, especially with the new graphic and combat engines....... Google around and look at the exciting ideas people are pushing around for DA2 toolset..

There wont be a tool set.

Id imagine , and correct me if im wrong. Because i don't Mod.
That tool sets are made for the PC . As i cant imagine a Console tool set exists.

And as the "Elitist" PC users have abandoned the game , "Don't argue with me" The PC version fell of the top 100 at Amazon days ago, and wont be coming back .

So even if they released one , which they wont. Nobody "Elite" would be around to make it for you .
PEW PEW ftw!

Before anyone starts to yell at me..
I'm not a pirate, and I didn't register any games; I don't care about DLC, I disagree with the community account system.
This doesn't mean that one cannot comment on the quality and features of a game.
To windkun and his likes: there where themes to comment on, ideas that could be discussed, points that could be made. There had been, thanks to the moderate (and I repeat moderate) comment of S_I_a_D, the possibility to evolve through an intelligent discussion on narrative structure, diversity of settings, freedom of role playing, and more. You could have all state your point, and discuss it, substantiate it.
Instead you just started getting pissed at ...what? What kind of offense is "to be critic"? Is DA2 a relative of yours? Maybe a sibling? I really am astounded; getting creepy, and start saying "oh2 I did this", "oh, I played everything!" "ohhh, cool!" "hey! you saw that stupid?? he actuallt DISLIKE something! what a pity!"... Umanity is at a loss..
And, by all means, no one here appears to have EVER played a Role Playing Game; and I refer to the kinds that are not built around combat mechanics, and video graphics; the kinds that doesn't need a computer at all. Because, that is Role Playing Game: people, gathered, creating, inventing, adventuring. And if we arrive to the point that computer simulacre of interpretative games are able to completely abort and disrupt creative, and thus critic thinking, well, we are at a loss.
You sadden me. And if you are now going to say: well if you dislike us that much why bother to leave a message? well, that's the difference between you and me. You just take, can't rule it out.
Cheers.

Well it the whole point is, why start a thread saying you made an account just to bash the game, and not expect someone who likes the game to find the OP offensive in his intentions. with that said, I also used to play DnD (for Garu) etc.

My rambling comes from my ADD meds. I type much more and go off on tangents than I intended to get across.

So glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed with the drops and loot.

You know, if they put all that effort they used to make the ridiculous amount of "bonus" weapons/gear and instead worked on putting all those unique items IN THE CORE GAME and made them drop from some tough bosses or hard to find loot, the game as a whole would have been much better.

Dragon was one of the hardest fights in the game and I imagine some people didn't even do it.

I would kindly refer you to the Modding forums and Dragon Age Nexus...both of which are already bursting with numerous mods. There most definitely will be many more mods and if a toolset comes out (which is a very good possibility) many many more will follow.

Also Amazon top 100 is about as useless of a judge of a game's success as pulling randomo numbers out of thin air.

I'm still hoping for an updated toolset and as long as Bioware doesn't say either Yay or Nay, there's hope. Though I wouldn't blame them if they didn't release a toolset now. You can't flog a company and expect goodies in return.

I've only had the game a few days and to be honest i'm loving it. Besides the way that the qunari have suddenly grown horns I don't have a problem with it. Bioware designed this game the same way they designed DAO and the mass effect games. Its about the story not the tedious grind just to find the best gear. If you don't like it dont play it. It doesn;t get much simpler than that

There is no DA2 specific toolset coming out from BW...ever. Mike Laidlaw has said on more than a afew interviews that the the toolsets are similar and they aren't releasing a DA2 specific one.

I couldn't agree more. After putting in what seems like 20 hours into the game, I keep repeating the same thing in my mind.... "I've been here before". Every quest is ohhh Champion you need to go save my son from the evil cheese lady! After doing countless of these simmilar quests hoping to gain enough money to buy some cool sounding Robes. I finnaly get them to find out that they are just a reskin of evey other Mage robe. This game is not "bad" but the amout of frustrating content overshadows the good in this game far to many times
