^^ It has been confirmed by Chris Priestly that this is the last story-based dlc for ME2, although he didn't rule out non-story dlc such as weapons or appearance packs etc.

I'm guessing you might have to wait a certain point in the game, but maybe no the ending. I understand why LOTSB had to be opened during mid-game because Illium wasn't available until you complete Horizon and swtich to Disc 2.salarianSniper wrote...
Does anyone think this DLC will only be playable after the suicide mission? or maybe it will have an option like LOTSB where once your at a certain point you can do it any time.

No news on who made the soundtrack for this DLC, I wanna hear Mansell's work, but I'll have to wait for ME3,

Only 560 MS points. I hope this isn't indicative of the length.
hmm maybe or maybe Bioware are just being generous since its the last story DLC but even if it is short it could be incredibly good, look at LOTSB that was pretty short, but it was excellent

It was also 240 MS points more expensive. But hopefully you're right and BioWare is just being generous.

Yeah, but I also doubt that this DLC will have the extra stuff we got at the end of Sahdow Broker. That might be the reason for the extra 240 points.blacqout wrote...

Lair of the Shadow Broker was brilliant. In fact, i think that little piece of DLC was better then the entire DA2 game. I can't wait for this.
Can't speak for DA2 but I will kinda agree and say that I thought the fights in LotSB (namely the defend the hatch portion on SB's ship) were better than ME2 itself.
As for the price I think 560 points worked well for Bioware with Kasumi and Overlord and yet despite being IMO more epic than those DLC's, LotSB at 800points still felt a tad short and the price may have put some people off expecting a small DLC pack.
I'm staying optimistic about the length and the quality as from what we've seen from the screenshots there are at least two main locations (one planetside, the other clearly in space) where we'll be fighting, again similar in concept to LotSB (Illium and SB base) and the inclusion of Hackett and this Amanda who at least seem to have major roles in this DLC and the overall story heading into ME3. Gut feeling that 560 is a good price for what should be an awesome DLC as a thank-you from Bioware.

When you've got Bethesda chucking out 800 point DLC packs with literally hours of content, it was hard not to be disappointed with LotSB's length and depth. It was a good DLC pack, I won't deny that, but I won't say it's my favourite because it really isn't. However, I suppose a lot of the value comes from replayability and the versatility of the pack, so maybe if you play it two or three times the price is easier to swallow.Sparroww wrote...

I'd say 560 points is the DLC sweet spot, at least for Mass Effect-type DLC.

Hmmm. I consider Lair of the Shadow Broker to be pretty lengthy even without taking the terminals and other extras into account. It had four distinct combat areas, two really great boss fights, and a car chase.
It seemed to include much, much more than any of the 560 priced DLC packs.
