So, does anyone know if you can keep playing after Arrival?
If the Arrival actually refers to the arrival of the Reapers it'll
hardly be possible to cruise around the galaxy anymore, right?

The DLC description says there's new research to unlock, so I definitely think we can keep on playing after completing Arrival (why throw in new research projects when you can't continue to play the game?).

Is it possible (this might be a very stupid question) to pre-order the DLC, or do I have to wait till release day to buy it?

Why would you pre-order it? It's not like they're going to "run out" of something you download from a server...

Well he did say it might be a very stupid question.

I suggest you save your money and buy yourself something called common sense.

At the risk of asking a silly question, is there any indication as to the size (in hard disk space) this DLC is going to be?

At first glance the priize would suggest something smaller than LotSB, however that is only an assumption. It can very well be that it is in fact bigger than Lair and Bioware just decided to try and sell more units at a lower price rather than fewer units at a higher price. So nobody can tell you for sure until the 29th...

I'm so glad that chap's not coming back in Mass Effect 3 for me... that phrase haunts me every day since my lass played it through as Femshep!

Thanks for that Vyse... :)

So Chris Priestly just announced there won't be a trailer until the release day. It's in the "Lock please" thread.

Considering that this is the last DLC before ME3 comes out I'm assuming it's going to be a pretty decent sized DLC. I'm pretty sure it's going to have alot of content and more content means it will take up more space.

Not to get your hopes up, but Chris Priestly did say this will be the last story based DLC, but there may [enthesis on 'may'] be additional DLC in the future, but they [BioWare] had nothing to announce. :wizard: [always wanted to use that emote, and now I have, awesome!]

I don't think anything has been confirmed yet, but I'm guessing that Arrival is a DLC that will only be available once the game is completed.

So, we get a few more weapons packs and/or alternate appearance packs? Image IPB

Well, we COULD be repelling an initial Reaper invasion. That doesn't mean they are immediately coming from some other point. Maybe they need to take time to find another way in, giving you time to recruit, loyalfy (joke word) your team, and take it to the Collectors.

It makes more sense for Arrival to be post-credits only; simply because that's the only time we see the Reaper fleet activate and head towards the milky way.

It wouldn't make sense otherwise.

I'm with you, but the thing is, is that they might only be inferring the reapers can use the relay in future, rather than the reapers are just about to use a relay. We could then complete Arrival and get back to recruiting Jack.

Has any one been following and/or posting the new Cerberus News updates?

Evidence continues to mount that the system of mass relays attributed to
the Protheans predate their civilization. Dr. Aurana T’Meles of the
University of Serrice, a one-time skeptic of the claim, now says she’s a
convert. “This team has been meticulous in dating relays from many
locations,” she says in her findings. “It is not their responsibility to
hypothesize who created the relays, only to isolate the eras of their
construction.” Such hypotheses abound and usually feature disappeared
species like the arthenn or zeioph. Nearly all have been ruled out since
they did not coexist with the oldest of the relays. Dr. Amanda Kenson,
team lead for the initial discovery, could not be reached for comment at
broadcast time.

Dr. Aurana T’Meles’ office in downtown Serrice was broken into last
night after she made galactic news for supporting the controversial
study that claims mass relays predate the Protheans. “I don’t
understand,” said a flabbergasted Dr. T’Meles. “All they stole was
research done by Dr. Kenson earlier this year. If they’d waited a month,
they could have read it all in a published paper.” Security footage
shows four batarians dressed in civilian clothing breaking into Dr.
T’Meles’ office at 4:13 AM local [Thessia standard] time. Skin cells
from the scene identified one burglar as Palash Tarn, a former member of
the Khar’shan military’s Batarian Special Intervention Unit. No
officials from Khar’shan were available for comment.

 Can't wait. :wizard:

I'm replaying ME2 with my Adept femshep...I just recently downloaded Overlord and LoTSB and haven't played them yet, so I'm redoing the whole story and intend to be done by Tuesday, so I can download Arrival and go straight into that.
