Why bum yourself out with negative thoughts? You should only be excited right now.

Humans are very good at doing that:(

You ARE complaining. Shut up and enjoy it. You're getting to meet Admiral Hackett for God sake! And he's still voiced by the android from Aliens! Yesssss

Hmm, but now I'm thinking about it. Overlord has the same price and was (to me) at least two hours long. LotSB wasn't much longer than that. So I'm keeping an open mind.

I will just agree with this.

If anything...we should be glad DLC is still even coming out while ME3 is almost here....so...we really shouldn't be complaining...AND...it's DLC, meaning it's optional...we shouldn't be acting spoiled....you know what I mean?

You are acting as if bioware is a parent giving their child a present. Its really funny how people quickly forget that bioware is a business trying to sell you something. If you do not like the product they are trying to sell you its your right as a customer to complain. People told Bioware what kind of product they wanted if they dont deliver then you have every right to complain since you are paying them money for it, so please stop being Ignorant.

But the complaint here is that there is a possibilty of getting not enough for a acceptable price...

it's probably 560 because it'll attract more people who have moved on than pricing it at 800 would. let's face it ME3 is an unknown at this point and ME2 has been out a year and a half already... gamers' attention spans are short.

oh and: people complain when it's 800, people complain when it's 560 - can BW win? :(

No, this is a good price point for DLC. I hope this clocks in at about and hour and a half. That will be worth it. IMO

no the op is not upset because its cheap, I dont think anyone actually read his post, stop sounding Illiterate and read the topic before running your mouth. He is upset because, other dlc that have been less than 800 points, have been short side missions, so guess what its most likly going to be, another cheap dlc mission instead of a full expanison. Since this is the last DLC before ME3 this pretty much comfrms no expansion like Dragon Age Origins recevied, that is what he is mad about.

I'm not disappointed. I'll save my disappointment for IF the dlc actually sucks. Don't see the point in worrying about it beforehand since it won't change anything.

i agree about waiting till it comes out to judge it, but going off of what Bioware has released for DLC so far, exculding Lair of the Shadow Broker because it was excellent DLC, evething that has been priced below 800 points has been a short 1 hour mission that did not continue the story. So I think its safe to say this will be another Overlord.

I actually am a little worried now that this will wrap up the events of ME2 and set up ME3 adequately.

It seems more likely that we won't be getting what I think the story really needs, some continuation after the suicide mission. I don't want Arrival to end and Shepard to still be flying around the galaxy, not having given any proof of the Reapers to the Council.

Admiral Hackett is worth $7. The rest is a bonus.

I think the price change is not because a lack of content, but as others have said various reasons. The price is dropping, and the DLC price should reflect that. This could be important so they want to bring people back. Hell on the optimistic side it could be a little gift from Bioware to have it cheaper with as much content as Shadowbroker. They certainly worked on it enough, and you don't hire someone as big as Lance Henriksen for something only 45 minutes long. No freaking way, he probably costs a lot.

Perhaps the new price point they tried with LOTSB didn't work as well as the 560 had been working. Perhaps the old 560 brought in a large client base, and they decided to try and raise the price to reflect the success of Kasumi and Overlord, but actually lost a substantial part of the old client base who was unwilling to pay 800 ms points. Without seeing the sales numbers of previous DLC all we can do is speculate, but I don't think a lower price point necessarily means less content.

If the dlc is as long as LotSB, the price is absolutely fine. Period.
And if not, I'm still buying it.

I'm not sure if the 560 means that the DLC can't be epic. But I share your concern. More concerning is the whole only three achievements thing since that suggests less length...

It all depends.

If Arrival is high quality content, 560 points is obviously a bargain.

If it's ME2: Witch Hunt, well...

I'm hoping some of the questions will be answered in the week or so running up to release. Questions like length, guest appearances (besides Hackett) carryover possibilities, That sort of thing. Then maybe we can judge if it a bargain or not.

pfft who needs achievements?
But in all seriousness, you have to remember that 2 of LotSB's achievements were "reminisce with Liara" and "beat this on hardcore/insanity". That leaves LotSB and Arrival at the same number of story-based achievements.

Not really seen plenty of good DLC for that price. Unlike Reach and its 800 point map packs.

Unpleasable Fanbase, much?

Anyway, I won't make any hasty judgements. As long as it's relevant to the story and executed well, then I'm happy.
