If anything I spend more time on Overlord just for the gorgeous landscapes and running around looking at everything.
This is much ado about nothing, we haven't even seen it yet. I guess some people are just setting up their "I told you so" ahead of time.
First thing I did this morning was check the forums, the second thing I did was set my desktop picture to the Hackett pic.

If you read it, its just about collecting evidence that the Reapers are coming, sounds like a step up from overlord but not by much

And who knows! Maybe the smaller price isn't reflective on the size of the DLC, but maybe Bioware's way of rewarding the fans of a game that was as highly acclaimed as ME2 was! Kind of a "because we appreciate you guys so much....". (Or maybe not, but i can hope!)

Either way we shouldn't judge the DLC simply based on what the price will be. Right now we should just be thinking "cool we are getting a kick ass send off for ME 2 and it's only costing 560 points".

True, but I still would want a very long DLC...

I'm hoping its not short, but I will be satisfied with a good 2 1/2 to 3 hours of gameplay.

Don't get me wrong i love Mass Effect and all things related. But, this DLC i thought it would be huge grand and epic. Now i just feel like it is going to be not as small and not so epic as it could be; I mean we have waited 5 months. I'm not complaining, I am going to buy it i just feel a little disappointed that my last ME 2 DLC could be so tiny... Anyone else with me on this?
that's funnty what you said. you don't even play it yet. you have no idea how story will go. now you are already disappoint because of the price? unbelievable. price is not always eqaul to quality. you already complain as your main title even though you don't mean it. get a life. it's not depends on you. it's Bioware. they know the best.

Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's a 30-60 minute DLC. You should be happy you'll get it for 560 MS.
Plus, from my point of view, even if it were a 3 hour long DLC, it would still be to short

and that maybe that is the reason for the price being what it is...

What a intelligent and well thought out response (sarcasm)
So what your saying is lets blindly give away money because bioware's name is on it, i dont know about you, but I research my purchases than buy it.
However, based on past experience with ME2 DLC its probaly a short side mission, defianltly not a expansion for that price

Jesus god, as if that wasn't obvious. Yeah OP was afraid there may be less content than LotSB. BOHOOOOO. How about we just wait and see. Maybe it's even longer or maybe shorter but of higher quality and Bioware was just generous this time.Konpatchi wrote...

What I was trying to say is that people here are making a fuss about nothing except that you get to pay less. Because that is all we know until the DLC is out and everyone saw if it was longer or shorter, better or worse.
also: Hackett > 560 Points

Rather they focus more on ME3. Such as a great story, new and interesting Squaddies, no more huge plotholes, fun gameplay, more equipment, a great conclusion, and the such.

It could be a discounted price on a "beefy" high quality DLC to help boost morale/fan support.(skeptical though)
Eh, time to sit back and wait.

Maybe the 560 points DLCs sold way more than Lair and ended up generating more revenue for Bioware so they decided to go with 560 again instead of 800. Sometimes you simply earn more if you sell way more units for a low price than selling only few for a high price.
