Hey folks,

i experienced the game very well on directX 11 with graphic settings "high" ... so far.
My issues started at the semi-boss dragon encounter in the deep roads,
my game started to continously crash to desktop.

My Hardware:

Operating System: Windows 7   64Bit
CPU: 2,67GHZ Intel i5 CPU 750
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card:  ati Radeon 5850 HD ( Running Catalyst Control Center Version 2011.0226.2342.42516 | Card driver 8.840.3.0)

My Dragon Age 2 is just the Normal CD -edition.

So the first steps i did was i recently updated my Videocard Driver,
installed the High resolution texture pack and updated DA2 to Patch 1.01.

Since that wasn't helpful at all i tried to change my Settings:

DirectX 11 --> DirectX 9
Window Mode > Fullscreen
Grafikdetails High to low
Anti-Aliasing Off
High resolution On > Off
Vertical Snc On > off
also deactivated everything possible ( like multiple render targets )

All those changes did not solve the issues,
so i decided to reinstall the game including all patches which did not help as well.

I hope you can find a solution for my Issues, thanks in advance.

Fixed it by setting the difficulty to HARD instead of Nightmare - LOL?

it was -.- ... but now i continue to onehit named enemies
