Or they make it so that it happened with or without you... I honestly don't believe they would be making such a big deal of the idea of Bridging content if it were to have so small an affect. Otherwise Mass Effect 3's outcome wouldn't have a large change based on the first two games because some people may jump in there. It's a logical fallacy.NICKjnp wrote...

We're not getting a trailer, are we? Well,it's maybe better that way.
Also,I have a theory about why this DLC is so cheap.I think it'll be better and longer than LotSB,but since it's such an important DLC,they want to motivate more players to buy it so they wouldn't miss on something that important.Could this be true?
Nope...they have to design dlc so that it doesn't effect the game in extreme ways. There are going to be people who don't buy the dlc and import a game from ME2 to ME3. They have to take that into account when they make it a bridging dlc. The importance of it will likely be a blurb in the next game..nothing more.

ME1 had only and asthetic impact on ME2. ME 1 & 2 (plus dlc) will only have an asthetic impact on ME3.

A lot of people are thinking that the dlc only being 560 points reflects the content but maybe Bioware is just making it cheaper because its important dlc and maybe giving the rest of us loyal xbox & pc users a break seeing that ps3 users got all their dlc for FREE!!
Yeah, a lot of people complained about Kasumi being 560 MS points because it was so small a mission, but a lot of people forget that we got surprisingly alot for $7: a mission, a new weapon, and a whole new companion with full dialogue throughout the whole game, not to mention a new area on the Normandy.
Overlord was $7 too, and we got 4 new missions for that, so I think that we're going to get a lot of content for Arrival.
To add, I think the reason why this DLC isn't 800 MS points like LotSB is because of many things, mainly because Arrival won't be as big as LotSB (I know that because BW never said "It's our biggest DLC yet!"), and I think they thought that $10 was a little pricey, being the last DLC and all.

Meh. Skeptical about that. The only line you could hear from them would be a recycled 'woah', at the very most.
However... Since ME3 is in making... If BW right now is in process of recording dialogue for it, it is possible they also had the VAs record some lines for this DLC. Hmmm.
Nah, still skeptical.

That's an entirely different scenario. ME1 had to flow into ME2 so that it could transfer to ME3 and make sure all players had the same start point. Aside from the fact that almost all of ME1 would've only had an impact on ME1's content, Rachni and other final battle allies aside. Lair, and your relations with all major factions will end up having a big affect on ME3 because they don't need to worry about ME4.NICKjnp wrote...

What I mean is: Show what was in Kasumi's box, or give us "proof" of the reapers(even though we already did but for plot sake we didn't) instead of introducing new "grey box" like plot devices that leave us wondering.
Cuz if they dont start giving us conclusive plot devices then ME3 may turn out like Lost where every question is just left unanswered and instead you just have a climax episode or in ME3's case a climactic event.
Just hoping.
(and excited like everyone else as well)

We have proof, end of ME2, in Shepard/Joker's hand. Check it out for yourself. Anyway, it's clear that ME3 will be about rallying the galaxy, not stumbling around in the dark looking for proof.BiancoAngelo7 wrote...
I hope this DLC starts to answer some questions / tie up open ended plot devices instead of just add more questions or introduce new plot devices.
