If the release date was on April 1st it would be too obvious....ooh they are good.

Since this is clearly Alliance-centric, will this feature Ashley/Kaedan in more than just a cameo appearance?
So far the VS (Ashley/Kaidan) have not been confirmed...<_<

"VS"?
Dang. I hope they come back in a similar fashion to Liara in the last DLC.
Considering the similarly priced Overlord and Stolen Memory DLCs did, I see no reason why Arrival wouldn't.Razorburn wrote...
If Arrival has new music (which I hope it does, ME music is amazing), will there be another OST release?
I highly doubt it. It is hinted that the doctor from the last CN is the person with infoElliot Slack wrote...
The undercomer operative could ba Ash or Kaiden B/C it is information about Reapers and they are the few people that know they exist.

That's an entirely different scenario. ME1 had to flow into ME2 so that it could transfer to ME3 and make sure all players had the same start point. Aside from the fact that almost all of ME1 would've only had an impact on ME1's content, Rachni and other final battle allies aside. Lair, and your relations with all major factions will end up having a big affect on ME3 because they don't need to worry about ME4.NICKjnp wrote...

Or they make it so that it happened with or without you... I honestly don't believe they would be making such a big deal of the idea of Bridging content if it were to have so small an affect. Otherwise Mass Effect 3's outcome wouldn't have a large change based on the first two games because some people may jump in there. It's a logical fallacy.NICKjnp wrote...

We're not getting a trailer, are we? Well,it's maybe better that way.
Also,I have a theory about why this DLC is so cheap.I think it'll be better and longer than LotSB,but since it's such an important DLC,they want to motivate more players to buy it so they wouldn't miss on something that important.Could this be true?
Nope...they have to design dlc so that it doesn't effect the game in extreme ways. There are going to be people who don't buy the dlc and import a game from ME2 to ME3. They have to take that into account when they make it a bridging dlc. The importance of it will likely be a blurb in the next game..nothing more.
ME1 had only and asthetic impact on ME2. ME 1 & 2 (plus dlc) will only have an asthetic impact on ME3.
Ergo your point is moot.

Also; By 'final DLC' is it a case of final story DLC, or the actual last DLC release? If it's the latter, then it's a bit of a d*ck move by EA/BioWare, considering we've only got half the costumes, no Terminus armour in a DLC pack (Nor the Dr Pepper helmets which I really wish BioWare would put into a release), nor even the comic we're supposed to be getting (I think. Could have read something wrong). Hoping it's just the former.

As yorkster one time: "The standalone game thing kind of undermines the whole endeavor." They'll do some things with ME3 that they didn't with the previous two, but I don't expect anything elaborately non-linear.NICKjnp wrote...

I imagine that the overwhelming majority feel the same way. To me, releasing the appearance packs now, is too little too late, at least for those of us that have had the game for over a year now. Maybe the PS3 users will have more appreciation for them.Rannin wrote...
Am I the only person who doesn't seem to care for any more appearance packs? I would rather have more story/VS/etc related stuff than just a vanity package. I dunno, maybe it's just me
It looks like they used the same base character model for both of them, to me.Rannin wrote...
On another note, who here thinks that the pic of Hackett that they have up (I think it's Hackett) makes him look a LOT like Zaeed? I was pleasantly amused by that.
And I am sooooo psyched to get to see Hackett, I could care less for Anderson, but I loves me some Hackett
