I'm guessing it just won't make far reaching changes like LotSB. Overlord was the same price, and it's longer in terms of actual mission time.

I think LoTSB wouldn't have been so much if it did not leave you with a new hub (Shadow Broker base)... and maybe because of the effort put into the Liara diologue. etc...

Hopefully arrival will be equally as good, and play a role in the story, but probably won't leave us with anything new once we've finished it...

In Mass Effect: Arrival, Commander Shepard is sent to the edge of the galaxy to rescue an undercover operative who may have evidence of an imminent Reaper invasion that has been looming since the very beginning of the series. Returning and playing a prominent role in Mass Effect: Arrival is fan favorite Admiral Hackett, who is voiced by legendary science-fiction actor Lance Henriksen (Alien, Terminator).

Ths final Mass Effect 2 DLC will arrive March 29 for Xbox 360, PC and PS3. The PDLC pack will be available for 560 MS Points on Xbox 360, $6.99 on PlayStation Network and also available for PC for 560 BioWare Points.

Check out the new screenshots and get ready, Arrival is coming :)

Sounds pretty cool. Could care less about a 'trailer'.  I'll pick it up, and may even pop in the game this week which has been collecting dust for months. Admiral Hackett coming back could be interesting especially if they take in to consideration how you handled Cerebus at the end of the vanilla game.  But, I'm guessing it'll be played out like you haven't finished the game yet even if you have done so.

Hrmmm...what if Ash/Kaidan turns out to be the undercover person you go to resuce....
Haven't played the game in a long time, but seems like they were both still with the Alliance...

I'm not getting my hopes up, but that'd be kinda cool.

When was LotSB's trailer? I remember it being released a short time before it landed.

IIRC, the trailer was released the Thursday or Friday before the game released.  It was announced over a month before it came out, however.

Maybe Bioware did a study or research and found that releasing a trailer for DLC any sooner than a few days before release and the hype and interest goes down thus resulting in fewer sales or something.

I'd like to hope there's a method to their madness... or is that a madness to their method?

:?

Edit:    Either way, a trailer just makes me want the DLC moar so I'm fine without one.  I'll be playing it this time next week anyways so no biggie....

Will all the DLC be released as bundle? I still haven't played any of the paid DLC yet. Been waiting to get it all at once for one price.

Something tells me the reason the trailer didn't get released today was because everyone's too busy playing Crysis 2.

Nah. Crysis 2 just released today, and didn't the amount of complaints about Dragon Age 2 scare away droves of people, or am I looking at things the wrong way?

I think Sparroww was referring to "Zulu_DFA" who often believes among many other things, that you should give Cerberus more far more credit by just pulse-radiating the collector base instead of destroying it.  This is of course, just to put it mildly as the idea behind many Cerberus apologists is that paragons and their choices are nothing but an exercise in absolute idiocy.

Whatever, I guess its all fun and games.  :D

Cheers;

I wonder what will happen to them should it be proven in ME3 that the Paragon path was the canon correct path and that Cerberus was proven to be as evil as everyone claimed.

Paragade is the canon path.
J/k, Paragon is if they follow suit with....all moral choice based games I can think of.
I don't like being a Renegade(I actually did do it in ME1 once, and through half of ME2 before quitting that playthrough), but I would rather they never pick a canon ending. Theres no need for them to. Even if they made more ME universe games they can just let people decide what happened in the past like they've done(mostly)so far. I like that way better. The different versions people have of Shepard is what makes this fanbase so much fun.

Am I the only one who was amused by the use of "flabbergasted" in the new CDN? I love that word.

I don't think I will even watch the trailer. Just because I don't want it to ruin anything.

Sweet. I knew we had at least one more coming and I was starting to wonder where in the world it was..then I realized they wouldn't want to steal any DA2 thunder...can't wait until 3/29. I don't think I can get another playthrough in though before the 29th; I'm still playing DA2 1st play and I'm playing a mage in DAO that I still need to get through...well, maybe I'll replay LoTSB again (just plain fun) and segue into Arrival. Yeah, Reapers, you may get through and you may raze London, but as Sideshow Mel Gibson would say, first, you will **** me.

Todays CDN post:
“Dr. Aurana T'Meles' office in downtown Serrice was broken into last night after she made galactic news for supporting the controversial study that claims mass relays predate the Protheans. "I don't understand," said a flabbergasted Dr. T'Meles. "All they stole was research done by Dr. Kenson earlier this year. If they'd waited a month, they could have read it all in a published paper." Security footage shows four batarians dressed in civilian clothing breaking into Dr. T'Meles' office at 4:13 AM local [Thessia standard] time. Skin cells from the scene identified one burglar as Palash Tarn, a former member of the Khar'shan military's Batarian Special Intervention Unit. No officials from Khar'shan were available for comment.”
