My drone will save me, I call him Sparky.

If not, I will see how many ice statues I can make.

I dont like how houston said it's both only a side quest, and an epilogue. Shouldn't an epilogue be...grand? Giving it a title as a "side" quest makes me feel like it will be messily put together like witch hunt.

Oh well, crossing fingers for a finale.

*grinning like a mad woman* Nice! I wonder how far I'll get before its game over. It reminds me of the ending of Reach.

i love the council, they do exactly what a council has to do: talk, talk, talk and never decide for the right thing.
So i am, and i will always be "pro council".... ;)
What i hope is to see Cerberus reduced in dust. And also find out the real nature of Asari.. i don't know why, but i do not trust Asari... i am sure, they are the real danger, the real contact of the reapres in the universe.... (Asari was the first discovering the cittadell... who knows it really?? maybe they was there since the beginning and told this story to the other races).
Why do every race tell that Asari looks like their own race? Turian says they look like tutian, Salarian says the same, Krogan too ... Asari has something they hide to us all.

So i hope, the arrival reveals us the dark side of Asari and they cooperation with Cerberus and the Reaper (because i also think Cerberus is cooperating with the reapers in some way. Maybe a hidden agreement of no harm or else).

ciao ciao we will see

Maybe they lok different to every species :L They have human features to Shepard so... Lol! Although I really don't want Liara to be part of some antient plot to destroy all life in the Galaxy :L

Achievements don't tell you how long a Game will be.
I think they will use only 3 achievements to get 100.I'm sure this will be the biggest DLC
for Mass Effect 2.

DLC: Lair of the Shadow BrokerCost: 800 MSP Achievements:
5 Points: 200

DLC: ArrivalCost: 560 MSP Achievements: 3 Points:
100

Between the cost difference and Achevements I think this will be a decent DLC but not the biggest or it would cost more $$. I think there will be more DLC than this before ME3 just because of the time left until ME3.

Yes LoTSB had a new Hub and new, amazing dialogue from Liara... but the actual mission length was considerably shorter than Overlord :\\

"Lair of the Shadow Broker allowed you to rekindle your romance with Liara. Will Arrival offer the same for the Virmire Survivor (Ashley or Kaidan)?
Unfortunately, no. I'm sad about this, but I hope it means that Kaidan/Ashley's role in Mass Effect 3 is super awesome"

Just curious, I'm interested to know.. what 'is' the appeal to Ash/Kaiden that other forum goers seem to have?

I don't mind them as characters myself, was a bit miffed about how things went down on Horizon, but when I heard about 'Arrival', I wasn't jumping up and down on my seat in anticipation of seeing the VS again, clearly some people were though. So... yesh, context, what is it people are hoping to achieve by bumping into the VS again in ME2?

Well, explaining what we love about these characters would take a while, because we find them to be complex and multi-layered (at least in ME1!).  But here's a quick attempt in just a few words.  Ashley is courageous, passionate, worldly-wise, and well-read.  She is no less feminine for being powerful and strong, and I admire this greatly.  Kaidan is reserved, reflective, open-minded, and mature.  Some of his life experiences could have left him cynical and prejudiced, but instead he chose to take positive, constructive life lessons from them.  Both are intensely loyal and willing to sacrifice themselves so that others might live and their mission be completed.

Anyway, the relationship Shepard has with these characters develops beautifully over the course of ME1; you also see glimpses of their relationship with each other, as Ashley and Kaidan are perfect foils for each other.  Yet, excepting the brief, chaotic exchange at the start of the game, the only encounter we have in ME2 is quite traumatic and sad.  Now, many Liara fans were a bit saddened that they didn't see much of their beautiful blue lady in ME2 either - and what they did see seemed rather different from what they'd known before.  But then LotSB came along and resolved many of those tensions, developing the relationship between Liara and Shepard much more deeply and taking the characters into many amazing roleplaying situations.  Many fans of Ashley and Kaidan were hoping that some future DLC might do the same for Ashley and Kaidan, so that the difficult initual situation could be used as fuel for character development, eventually leading to a satisfying reconciliation.  Now, if that doesn't happen until ME3, fair enough.  But to want the thing, point blank, whether as DLC or a part of ME3, is not, I think, illogical.

I can sympathize for the Kailenko fans, and I genuinely recognize the desire to have them handled in a manner similar to Liara's DLC but considering what we were told as facts, even back when Lair came out, it should've been acknowledged that even if we got a VS DLC than it would be subpar, and all too short(not just for the fans either).

I've said this before and, while I'm not happy about it either I'll likely say it again. The maximum size a piece of content on the normal Xbox Live Marketplace can be is 2GB.(Games on Demand run on a different configuration and are, as far as I know, unlimited) The previous caps put on the Marketplace were for varying reasons, which we will likely never know because it's honestly none of our business as consumers to know every motivation behind a company.

However, unlike the previous caps this is a technical capacity that they can't surpass for any one piece of content. This isn't going to change because however the system was initially set up, it wasn't built to transfer content in excess of 2gigs at a time.

Any content we would get, that would be in the same vein truly as Lair, with the kind of interaction that Liara had would be at best somewhere at slightly over half of the content(assuming everyone else's reactions to them are exactly the same). It would just be disappointing to me.

"And then, of course, the plot twists". Anybody want to guess what that means?
Still hope for seeing the VS? Or maybe this doctor is a baddie?
Or maybe something to do with the reapers seeing as it was said in the podcast today that they would be involved in this DLC more?
