That's what I took from it.  A mission to stop the Reapers is actually a trap set by the Reapers to lure in Shepard and finish him/he off or better yet, indoctinate Shepard as well.

Based on that gameplay footage I've seen, the waves of enemies should make it challenging, especially with my insanity difficulty engineer.  Alexandria will be putting her drone to use... a LOT!!!

The IGN article says that Arrival unlocks after you do Horizon.

Great news to me, as soon as I heard you had to go in alone, I was afraid this was just a way to separate you from the ME 2 squad.

Does anyone else wonder if this is TRULY the last story-bridging DLC for ME2? I know it's been stated as such, but there is still so much time between now and when ME3 releases...Surely there is at least one more to come. Of course, I could be hoping against hope. Oh well. Cheers.

There is set-up for ME3, just like LOTSB. Possibly a major choice to be made.

Huh, so it is indeed the last one. Well, what bugs me is that the folks at Bioware were boasting about how they've got several bits of DLC will in fact "bridge" the gap between ME2 & ME3. So far, little to no bridges have been made. Got to love marketing, I guess. Well, I still love Mass Effect and will still play the DLC, albeit a bit disappointed. Such is life.

Ign seems to think that the Level cap is because you will continue as your current level in Mass Effect 3, as in you will start at 30 and it will go up to 60... They think, because Shepard died in Mass Effect 2, that was a good reason for restarting your level, skills etc. Also because Mass Effect 2 had an 'open ending', this leads further towards starting at 30.

I don't really think this will happen myself tho, if this is not true then I really dont know why they capped it at 30, seems a bit of a low number to be the highest Level (in Demon Souls on PS3 the max level is something like 689 I think :L).

You played DA:O, you should be used to this by now. 

Seriously, this is not as bad as the DA:O "two years worth of DLC" fiasco. The ME team has brought us some good stuff, not as much as I had hoped, but it's been quality DLC and much more than the Origins team.  If I had to guess, they probably did plan on making more bridging DLC, then ME3 happened.  Whether or not EA forced BW to abandon DLC and move on ME3 would only be conjecture.  One thing is for certain.  It’s probably best not to put much stock into anything BW “plans” to do.  Plans change.

I really hope the epilogue tie in of this DLC between ME2 and ME3 isnt just Shepard saying at the end "Im gonna get those Reapers!.." haha
