Yes.
Though you'd think if they brought Lance in they'd have brought everyone else in to record some lines for ME3 and Arrival on the side...unless they're already done recording ME3's audio. They couldn't be done with it this soon, could they?
No way, they still need to record 1,000,000 'I should go' voices.

Has it been confirmed that the VS is NOT in arrival because I heard someone say that yet Ive seen no proof?
I think it has, I read it in some IGN article... They said they played it and they were not in it

Thank the eight and one....I'd say maybe the VS fanclub will "move on" now about not getting a DLC, but if this is the case, I suspect that there will be even MORE threads complaining about it. However, in that respect, has anyone considered the possibility that the one you left behind on Virmire might make an appearance? It's highly unlikely I know but when you think about it, you never actually "see" them get caught in the explosion or whatnot, it's just "implied" due to the explosion seen from orbit. Again, not very likely but this seems the kind of thing I could see BW doing as a sort of plot twist. After Leliana Verner being brought back from the dead, I dont put anything past them lol.

you just blew my mind........that would be an incredible twist.....
Yea, it's something I've pondered myself since ME1 truthfully.

But no this isn't really an Allience mission from what I understand. It's a personal off-the-record favor for Admiral Hackett. Hence why you have to go in alone...Hackett wants it very hush hush. Since he wants you to go alone...what are honestly the odds of the VS just randomly being there? DA2 was full of ridiculus companion cameos that I felt were totaly pointless and only exsisted for fan service. Leliana's is the only one that seems to make any sense...ignoreing the fact that some people kill her yet shes still alive
I don't want the VS just thrown into a situation where it makes no sense for them to be there just for the sake of fan service...it needs to make sense or else it will be worse then not having them at all imo.

No, it sounds more like ''we weren't smart enough to keep them under contract to come back for VA on the DLC ...OR we weren't smart enough to record extra stuff while they did the work for the vanilla game.''
Maybe they should've done that rather then make crappy comic books.

And if they'd gone that route, people would now be p!ssing and moaning that the DLC is "cut content" and they're being ripped off.
Bioware ComplainBoard strikes again.

I hope she doesnt sound too Miranda'ish when Aya talksMaestro975 wrote...
There's also the issue of availability. For example, Yvonne Strahovski (Miranda's VA) was probably doing The 3rd Birthday when this was being made (and hopefully recording some lines for ME3).
