Mass Effect Arrival Launch
Location: For all systems
Time: 9:00AM Tuesday, March 29th
I assume this is Mountain Standard Time.
In short, go to bed early, wake up early, than play it.

Have they said what 304942 turned out to be?
If you've seen the image of Shepard and the doctor (Amanda Kenson), there is another set of numbers.

I think it was the IGN article that said the countdown was for the arrival of the Reapers, which would happen in two days.
So perhaps the 304942 means 30 minutes or 3 days until the Reapers arrival. Of course, that is assuming the 304942 is a countdown. It also depends on the order of the "countdowns" in the DLC.
02:03:25:26 Days:hours:minutes:seconds, 8 numbers. 304942 would appear to be an independant puzzle.
If you reverse it, take the first number, skip one, take the third, skip two, take the sixth you get 293 or 29/3; the release date. Seems like bit of a stretch tho, dunno about the 4 4 0 you get left over.
I noticed that which is why I am not sure if there is a connection between the numbers. The 304942 is shown on the same screen as a mass relay so its easy to assume there is a connection there. Some people (early on in this thread) assumed the numbers were a countdown of something being on a crash course to the mass relay.

To be honest, I think the VS helping Shepard in Arrival would be so mind-numbingly lame.
Why? I've never appreciated fanservice that's shoehorned for no good reason.
Well you don't have to worry about that because I doubt it will happen.
Honestly, if the VS appearance made sense with the story then I would be okay with it. As I said earlier in this thread, I thought they could tie in the VS since the Arrival plot included a "deep cover agent" that went missing and because of Admiral Hackett's involvement.
However once I heard the Arrival described as Admiral Hackett's personal request and the fact one of the devs called the Arrival a "side" quest, I am not sure what Ash/Kaidan's role would be.
"Someone With Mass", I see where you're coming from but surely you see the other side? Many people who romanced the VS felt cheated with the portrayal of Ash/Kaidan and the lack of involvement in the story.
Overall, I just want the DLC to be good! I think everyone agrees on that, whether they want the VS to be in it or not.

So 9am? What time Tuesday will that reach Ireland/europe? 6hrs later?

So long as we don't have to do a puzzle like the one in the AI core on Noveria.

I still remember that puzzle from Knights of the Old Rebublic. Had a blast figuring that one out, wish they brought it back.
4 4 0, I dont think its a time, if it is indeed going live at 9am on the 29th. Maybe the cost in BW points? $7 translates to 800, but since it was said this will be $5 maybe thats 440 BW points?

Sounds interesting. The "henchmen coming and leaving" part may have some effect on who's actually in our party in ME3. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I'm guessing around 30hrs. Generally content goes up, for PC at least, around mid-afternoon for the UK, so I'd say about 30hrs until it's out.Renegade133 wrote...

It would be nice if they at least mentioned vigil I can't remember anyone in mass effect 2 talking abouth the nearly intact prothean base. It proved it could hide itself from the reapers it could detect if someone was indoctrinated and if it could hack into the citadel it can probably hack into a mass relay, because unless that asteroid knocks it into the local sun, it isn't really realistic it could destroy it.
When you go to meet anderson and the council you can tell them to go see vigil, but they say that it no longer works.
