I'm curious about this dlc. It's hyped up that the reapers are coming....but the dlc does not end your playthrough or what not, a dev said you can play it before the suicide mission...so, uh, yeah.

I am guessing were gonna find our when they will arrive.

Sadly with the knowledge it's playable after the Horizon mission and before the SM I don't think there's any way this DLC will end with ah fleet of Reapers coming through a Relay.  I'm thinking it's simply a trap set by agents for the Reapers to take down Shepard.  The question is, who is springing the trap.  For those of us who have watched the 20 minute video of the first part of the mission have run into what are possibly pawns but not the mastermind behind the trap.  We'll find out tomorrow.

Now, if this DLC was only playable following completion of the SM, then I'd have my hopes up for it involving a sky darkening formation of Reapers coming at us.  Alas.....

<_<

Speculation aside, I'm still highly looking forward to it.  I  even worked one of my days off to have tomorrow off just to play it with all my Sheps (all 6 of them!)

Here in Romania it comes around 19:00. Not counting of course that we may have small delays with the site crashing or the download going slow because entire human armies will download it :P

You sure? Its a long time, but atleast id know, what bugs me about DLC is I remember waiting hours for the kasumi DLC just not knowing when it would come out, and the add for it looked so great so I was too excited to sleep.

Well in the trailer of ME3 they say that if shepard doesn't bring help soon their won't be a earth left to safe So maybe shepard in a plot twist will again be missing in action. And you start ME3 with the VS (because shepard can die in ME2 He can't be the main character for ME3 their simply isn't enough memory on a disc for the voices of 4 main characters).
So shepard dissapears/ or leaves to bring back help

You realize the Shepard death at the end of ME2 isn't canon. YOu can't import a file where Shepard dies because ME3 is still about Shepard. If you let Shepard die thats the ending of your story...period lol. Theres no alternate protagonists or anything like that.

Well lets see...Admiral Hackett sends you on the mission as a "personal request". Maybe he's the mastermind...the new "Saren" so to speak, he got too close to Object Rho and fell under it's influence. This way the Reapers have total control of the entire Arterus Fleet, which would explain why they left Earth defenseless when the Reapers eventually show up. Meanwhile Harbinger is useing Hackett to "persuade" the Council that the Reapers are just a myth and they don't need to bother making preperations. The data in Kasumi's Greybox? seceret communications between Hackett and Harbinger discussing their next course of action while Harbinger simutainiously works through the Collector General to get the new Reaper up and running so when it's finally complete Harbinger will use the Collectors, the human Reaper and the Arterus Fleet lead by the indoctranated Hackett to get the Reapers into the Galaxy to resume the Cycle. Meanwhile Harbinger uses the Batarians as the perfect scapgoat to distract the galaxy from the true threat. No one would suspect the arch enemys of the Batarians to work with them towards any goal...so the cover up would be the perfect political distraction. This also explains the true reasons behind the Heretic Geths decrese in attacks. Harbinger has informed them that humanity is under their thumb and the attacks need not be as concentrated as they were previously. Meanwhile Admiral Hackett refuses to let the Allience get their hands on Shepard...not for his protection mind you...but to keep the Allience from hearing the truth from the only one who knows it that isn't a slave of the Reapers. Because if they were to talk to Shepard he would tell them about indoctrination and how it affects people. This would in turn make the Allience suspious of Hacketts strange change in behaviour and possibly get him removed from his position which would disrupt the Reapers plans.

Keep in mind this theory is backed by zero evidence and was thought up in the grand total time of 1 second after reading your post and should probably not be taken seriously.

You'd either have to be a totally rubbish player or simply curious to have let poor Shepard meet a tragic end. I saw it on Youtube. Now, if only they made a Joker parady where he deals with the Reapers in an ME3 DLC lol.

Dude, that was pretty freakin' awesome.  I  would be pretty amazed and pleased if Arrival had a huge plot twist like that.  Well done.

That said, I have one minor disagreement.  The part I put in red.  There a CDN feed that tells of Hackett backing down from opposing the turians building more dreadnoughts.  Letting a Council race build more dradnoughts than allowed by treaty doesn't seem to mesh with setting the universe up for the Reapers but then we've only seen the Reapers take on cruisers mainly (Battle of the Citadel in ME1 was a giant cruiser battle except for the DA and Soverign IIRC)  so I'm not sure how much longer or more effective a dreadnought would last against a Reaper.

Again, overall that was pretty well thought out.

:)

Good theory, but I don't think Hackett has been around Object Rho or any other things that could indoctrinate someone.

Knowing the fates of the characters Lance usually plays, I'd hate to have to hurt him.
