If we still can't play it though until release day and only then when we've paid the points for it, are we not just doing the community a favour by not clogging up the Bioware servers tomorrow? It's a slippery slope but it's just good intentions at this point.

Although, 880MB does seem like a woefully small number considering LotSB's DLC size.

True but it is abusing Bioware's good intentions.  I am only guessing here but I imagine they put the file on the server earlier this time in order to try and sync the PC release of the DLC with the xbox 360 version.  In previous DLC's PC gamers have had to wait nearly 24 hours after Xbox gamers to get the DLC.

They are obviously trying something different now and we should respect that rather than take advantage of it.  Once they have the DLC available for purchase that is when you should download it and not before.

That DLC link is legit. I'm using it to download my review copy.
Which means I have authorization to play.
I will let you all know what happens in a major spoiler post so yeah.

I guys...I'm new here ...I'm just can't wait they release the new DLC ...I played Overlord and Lair of the shadow broker on PC and they were so cool ...I really want to play all DLCs on my XBOX but I do not have enough BP ...do you think a GOTY Edition with all DLCs?...I hope so

It's not illegal to simply download the files. If you don't do anything to circumvent the copy protection/activation/whatever it's fine. You still need to buy it in order to play it. You will be directed to that exact same url anyway when you buy it.

It's pretty definiteley illegal even to just download the files- but I personally don't see anything wrong with that if you pay for it anyway.
