Actually we could have the same time. Just set the clocks to the same time. We still would have one side enjoying the night while the other has to deal with the ugly daytime but so what. At least everybody had the same time on their watch.
They have this. It's called UTC.
If game companies would post a time and date set with that it would make life so much easier.
But the problem is, everyone forgets we're a global community so they only post local and expect everyone else to work it out. Its a pain in the arse. Same as seasons "Coming this fall" What the hell does that even mean? We don't even have a season called 'Fall' and if we did, it certainly wouldn't happen the same time as yours.
Global dates and times people!!

Had you chosen to not press the button, the reapers would come, kill you, and give you a "Critical Mission Failure." Then you would have to load the game before you pressed the button. Waste of time right?Dekiaia wrote...
I'm sorry but this DLC isn't worth anyones time or money.
It's just awful, I don't even know what to say =) It's basically killing the same generic enemies until you reach the objective, Oh and did i mention it's only 20-30 minutes long?
(SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER)
I didn't even get to choose whether or not i want to destroy the ****ing relay. Heey this action will kill 300k peop.. *shepard presses the ****ing button* WHAAAAAT? REALLY?
This is a waste of money, just like all the other DLC's they have put out for this game (except the new companion ones).
Yeah it's a complete waste of time and anyone who disagrees is either a ****** or a mass effect fanboy with a biased point of view =) WHAT IF i want to be killed by the reapers? what if i want to think of another plan to get rid of them, instead of killing 300k innocent people? RPG's are all about options, this DLC will give you none. It basically plays itself.

Who thinks bioware should give this DLC to us for free, seeing as it has seemingly failed to meet the release date for PC?
the should give it for free anyways since its a "prequel" to ME3 and setting up events for that game. Not all DLC should require you to buy it. Even more so if you got/bought Cerebus Network which hasn't had very many "missions, content, etc" provided to people who have it. Just the one time thing. Heck the info blurb about it seems to indicate You'd get daily missions...

I am getting a bit vexed at all the people whining over the release date/time. It could be worse, they could be Valve. In which case it would be out next week at least
Also, sod off with your negative mini-review posts. You're not a critic nor are you someone with a valued opinion among those awaiting the download - you have an internet connection, a keyboard and a poor grasp of social mores. Go away.

Yeah, I figure it will be a let-down, too. It's the final DLC to be released before Mass Effect 3, and they're not even charging as much as they did for Lair of the Shadow Broker. Sure, one might think that the DLC is longer and more expansive than they suspect, and that BioWare is selling it for cheaper out of the kindness of their hearts, and so such a pivotal piece of optional content will be more accessable...but then you remember who BioWare works for, and that theory goes right out the window.
I'll still get the DLC, of course, but my level of enjoyment will determine whether I renew my pre-order for Mass Effect 3, decline to pre-order but still get it the day it comes out, or wait until it goes the way of Dragon Age 2.
That really sums up how I think Mass Effect 3 will turn out: for good or ill, it will be on the same level as Dragon Age 2. It will be fun and enjoyable, but it will still be lacking because of how badly rushed it will be.

I hate to ask the question again but is there a certain time that the PC version is going to be released... because it's 10:40AM EST and I don't see my expansion pack yet in the DLC section!
Chris Priestly said that the PC version will be available from 9am PST which is 1hr 16 minutes from now. He also stated that Bioware had asked both console companies to adhere to this release schedule and NOT release it before 9am PST. Naturally Sony are cooperating with this and Microsoft are sticking the big finger up to it (why am I not surprised).

Sorry for asking, but does this mean, that the DLC will be on EU PS Store today too? Because EU store updates tommorow. Thanks for reply.

Yep, and realists are gonna realize.
Soon enough, everyone else will, too.
As much as I love Mass Effect 1 and 2, he's absolutely right: "RPG's are all about options, this DLC will give you none. It basically plays itself."
Edited to add:
As I mentioned in my previous post, the quality of gameplay (and quantity, to a lesser extent) in Arrival is going to be the deciding factor in how much I'll be willing to pay for Mass Effect 3.
I urge others to do the same. Vote with your wallets.
Love it or hate it, Dragon Age 2 was a rushed project, and could have been much better. From reading the reviews, lovers and haters alike were disappointed with DA2, to some extent.
Yes, I realize the DA dev team is seperate from the ME dev team, but they both have EA breathing down their necks, pushing them to meet bullsh** deadlines.
If Arrival is a disappointment to you, at the very least, consider holding off on buying Mass Effect 3.
Do it for BioWare's own good. Hopefully, EA will take note of any loss in sales, and give BioWare more breathing room.
