*starts singing*
Oh it's a jolly holiday with Mass Effect,
To soar among the stars so bright!
When you're feeling weary, worn and hen-pecked,
With Mass Effect, you feel all right!
When Shepard's on the scene, there will be pwnage!
We're fighting on to save the galaxy!
When Arrival DLC is near to me,
My heart starts beating with pure joy and glee!
Oh it's a jolly holiday with Mass Effect!
No wonder that it's Mass Effect we love!
Yes, I'm totally on a Mary Poppins overdose right now.

There may be. Just because Shep is alone in the images doesn't mean that's how it will be in the DLC. Since it it seems to be an Alliance military mission, then you may just end up having one of them as a companion.
That might include Virmire survivor squadmate? I hope so

If the operative to be rescued is THAT person that I think it is, then I'm in heaven right now.

I just want to see Ashley and Kaidan. One screenshot of them--even if they're just standing--and my MS points are guaranteed for BioWare.
Agreed.

Chris, I know you can't spoil but am I near in my theory that ultimate sacrifice is sacrificial of the 5th fleet and admiral hackett in the 1st reaper battle ? Yes or No will suffice too

This....And does anyone know how long the dlc will be?Cerbrus operative wrote...
Does anyone think we can play this DLC before the suicide mission?, considering the fact it is the bridging DLC between ME2 and ME3.

Excited? For what please? I have read the press release and im not excited. Maybe you can go in 1 or 2 areas, collect a few information pads or something like that, have to fight a few husks, maybe a collector or two, and then? End of the story. You will not encounter a reaper, maybe at the end of the DLC you see a little sequence of an army of reaper?
I was waiting for a Ashley/Kaidan DLC.
I understand your frustration. I would've liked to see a return of Ashley/Kaidan...but maybe, with any luck, we'll see them back in action for ME3. Honestly, I think I'd rather see them as part of the team in ME3 (depending on who lived) than just being thrown into a DLC. The only DLC that would do their return justice would be something on the level of LotSB, and I don't think we're going to get that before ME3.
