I already posted this on another thread, but it doesn't seem like anyone's seeing it, so I'm starting a new thread, perhaps the other one, is too long.
I have been searching the forums for days trying to find out why
Isabella won't come back, I think I even started a thread on the
subject. I am a rogue, I let Isabella keep the relic, she took off
before the fight, I went outside and picked up her letter, I then got a
quest to go to the hangman pub to talk to her, but she isn't there, so I
went ahead and started the last quest chain, got all the way to the
duel with the Arishok, killed him, now I understand from reading the
previous posts, she's supposed to show up at some point, and give the
relic back or something, but she never show's. I dont remember if I had
sex with her or not, but I have the Isabella's got your back ability.
By the way, after playing through this about 4 times, I gave up and
moved on, and so far, I haven't finished the game yet, I still have the
Isabella's got your back, ability, but she is gone.
Can't seem to get Isabella back.

You have to be over 50% friend or rival...in either direction. If not you are outta luck. You have to do her quest and agree to do it first before Aveline.

Which aveline quest are you taling about, I honestly don't remember, I started this 3 days ago, with all the replays through, perhaps I did
avalines quest first, I don't know, but I am definately friends with Isabella, I've got the Isabella's got your back passive ability. Which means you are friends with her.

Yes the quest is called Questioning Beliefs, and Isabella is not in the hangman pub, i tried entering several times, in both nighttime and daytime pub.

He's talking about when Isabela and Aveline are both at your house, you have to choose to do Isabela's first.

Did you do her Act 2 Questioning Beliefs? It looks like sometimes you don't get it until after she leaves, which makes it impossible to get her back.

I did the Isabela quest first, and I got the quest Questiong Beliefs after I got her letter, but she is not in the hangman pup, which the quest tells you to go there and talk to her.

If you didn't do her Act 2 Questioning Beliefs before the final Act 2 quest, then that's exactly what that quest is. It's a bug, I don't know of any workaround other than replaying Act 2 and seeing if it'll appear when it should.

Well thanks for the attempts at help, but it doesn't seem anyone knows the answer to this, maybe the next time I play through, as a warrior, it will work. It's too late to get her back, in any case as I'm deep into the 3rd act now. Incidently I still have the Isabella's got your back, ability which increases your attack speed by 5% I think.

I attempted to find her in the Hangman's pub, before triggering the final act 2 quest.

True, that part I'm not so sure about.
It's possible that he just experienced a bug, there seem to be quite a few in DA2.
