I am not sure whether to post this here or on the quest and story forum,
so sorry if it's in the wrong place. This topic also contains spoilers
if you have not yet done Merril's companion quest " a new path in act
3".




So, I apparently finished the quest but it looks
like something is wrong. After dealing with the demon and the elves who
turned on us, the quest is simply moved to the "completed folder", but
the text remains the same "Go with Merril to the demon cave ..." and
Merril acts like nothing happened. When I go to her house, she merely
talks about the holes in the roof. Is this a bug or did Bioware simply
leave the quest like that? If it is a bug, is there a way around it?

Same thing happened to me. Unsure what the consequences are.
