Playing with my mage, I was going to reset my abilities. I originally had 28 con, 34 mage, and 30-34 willpower ( cant remember the exact). After using the Maker's Sigh, i was only able to get 28 con, 34 mage, and 26 willpower...does the Maker's sigh only give you the amount of points you should have at the level, disregarding Tomes, Deals with Demons, and Reading the evil book?

I was wondering this myself. Same could be asked about the ability points you can get through tomes as well. Should be easy to figure out. You get one ability point per level plus any from tomes and the like. If you drink the Maker's Sigh and you only have abilities totaling your level we have an answer

Probably, you had on armor that raised willpower and required certain stats. When you used maker's sigh, your stats dropped below the required level and the armor was removed. If you re-equip all your armor you should be back to where you were before.
