As for Isabela, being promiscuous does not make a woman a bad person, a ****, or one dimensional. Not being able to see beyond a woman's promiscuity, however, (especially when you are literally being told everything about said woman beyond it) reflects poorly on your perception, at best.

^^This.
Word for word.
Except opposite.
I have a bizarre fetish for non-skanks.

You see thats where Bioware went wrong this time around, the romance subplot with Isabella was not what most people expect from a romantic liason in a game. She was very much too real, she made many men think of one night stands they would rather forget or random girls they picked up in nightclubs. For me personally i prefer it to be bigger than life, it is escapism after all.

Seems to me that's an issue with men who pick up random women and then can't cope with the fact that they are actually PEOPLE, rather than an issue with Bioware's characterisation...

And to those ragging on Isabela, get over it. She likes to get laid. NEWSFLASH! sex is fun. Why is it any guy who sleeps around is a hero and any girl that does becomes pariah. Double standard 4tw.
Also, THIS. +10. Women like sex. I know, I know - it comes as a surprise to many. But true nonetheless.

QFT. If Isabela were a man, a lot would high five him.

You may not get her to stay in your house but you can always go to her.... ship.Begarian wrote...
I picked a single romance option in a conversation with Isabella and slept with her immediately after. I remember having to work quite a bit harder than that in every other Bioware game to even get to that point. Actually the most interesting part of the whole thing was the conversation after.

Funny isn't it - the disdain they hold for the woman that they'd have the one night stand with - but hold no disdain what-so-ever for themselevs?
Oh boys boys boys. That is one of the advantages of getting older however - some of those boys do, eventually grow into men.

A metaphor involving tadpoles growing into frogs occurs to me, but I'm having trouble fitting in the bit where my dog eats some of the tadpoles, and the bit where my neighbour's children try to eat some of the tadpoles, and...yeah, it went to a weird place.
To summarise: yes.

LOLWell, ya know that saying..... "You have to kiss a lot of frogs....."
Indeed. And I've always rather liked frogs. So I think it all works out for the best in the end.

While I don't feel "screwed over" I definitely do not find the ugly elves attractive at all, and I don't like ****ty ****s for LTRs.

A lot of Bud Lite drinking sideways baseball hat bro dawg d-bags maybe.
Despite what you read on blogs and what you see at republican political conventions, other men do NOT worship bro dawg dudes who cheat on their girls or nail ****s.
I've never once high fived any d00d about any sexual encounter he had. In college brahs tried to high five me, and I left them hanging.
What I do with women is for me and the women I do it with. I'm not some strip club goin loser that gets off on other d00ds getting off. I find that just sad and pathetic.
I think it also says something about the frat boi d-bags that run around high fiving each other after banging the same drunk ****. They're tards

One of the great epiphany moments of my teenage years. Prior to that I just thought they tolerated it so they could get stuff.

I always find it so charming when young men feel that denouncing a man for engaging in activities they know women find distasteful makes them superior and mature. As you get older you start to realize there is no shame in being a man and liking to look at/have sex with naked women. Sex, and the desire for sex, are natural.
It is difficult for women to shrug off that "easy" repuation when they are open about their sexual desires - even among men who should know better. It is a territorial thing, I believe. Men like to feel that a woman they are sleeping with belongs to them alone; the act of sex marking their territory.

That's a nice opinion, but that doesn't have anything to do with what I posted, why did you quote me?
