Duke Nukem. Forever.

ME3 is going to suck miserably, because it will be ME2 minus the ME2 squad.

Duke Nuken sucks.

We are not sure if the ME2 squad will be scraped. Probably not.

I trust Bioware and hope that ALL the decisions really do affect the game in ME3.

Personally I really like the idea of BF3, Sky, ME3 in the goty lineup but I doubt that will happen.

BF3 might win in the shooter category but not GOTY.

Personally I hope ME3 wins but I think Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be a sleeper.

I don't think its fair to compare any game to another if they are separated by generations. I think it should be kind of like sports.

In the NBA Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in a game. Does that make his the greatest scorer ever? Of course not. He was playing against different competition in a different era with slightly different rules. Bill Russell won 11 Championships (8-in-a-row) does that make his the greatest ever? Nope. He essentially created defense in an era when no one had heard of such a thing. If he played today, he would probably win a few, but not 11.

It's the same, I think, with other forms of media. Things are just different in different eras. The graphics, the political climate, what is deemed acceptable, what styles of writing are nurtured. To compare The Legend of Zelda with Mass Effect and say Mass Effect is better is simply unfair.

You can say, "Well, it has better graphics, better story, better characters, and a better world."

Well, no crap! Try fitting Mass Effect onto a NES cartridge.

To categorize one thing/person as better than the other is just silly when such divides exist between them**

I think its better to categorize these as greatest game in a generation. Such as the greatest game of last generation was probably, imo, Half-Life 2. The greatest one this generation is still for grabs I think. Although there have been some great ones. Maybe Uncharted 2. Maybe GTA IV. Maybe Red Dead Redemption.

I think M3 has a CHANCE to be the greatest of the generation, but it will be tough.

**With the obvious exceptions of Citizen Kane, Michael Jordan, and Wayne Gretzky.

The Half life series is probably the greatest first person shooter series of all time right now.

Splinter cell Chaos theory is the best stealth game of all time. I don't think anything will ever beat it.

I think LA Noire will be the best open world game this gen.

Dead Space is the best series of this generation hands down. It's immersion factor, realism and sound/graphic design are unmatched. Isaac clarke is the best character to grace gaming since Gordon Freeman (who is still the best game character OF ALL TIME btw).

Best RPG?... Either Jade Empire or Kotor for me. Kotor turned me onto Bioware because I was a star wars fan while Jade Empire was Biowares MOST immersive game ever created. I loved the characters, the setting, the lore, the music, the combat... EVERYTHING.

Best action game, BATMAN Arkham Asylum. Will probably be replaced by Arkham City. I love batman so much.

I still think that award goes to Doom.

It already has been beaten. By Thief.

For me, Planescape: Torment is the perfect RPG. It is a game that transcends gaming.

this game will be oustanding !!! Posted Image now please bioware give us the arrival DLC allready

Wow, that is going way too far, even for Bioware. The possibility for being extremely disappointed for this one is very high.

I'm sure it will be a phenomenal game, but i doubt it'll topple Fantastic Dizzy on the Sega Mega Drive, or Call of Duty: World at War which was a masterclass in presentation.

The greatest achievement in gaming history must change the whole gaming industry *cough*idSoftware*cough*. ME 3 will not bring anything new. Just more corridor shooting with pretty cutscenes.
