We have been doing a lot of brainstorming at the Treehouse offices today, and are wondering what non-apparel items you would like to see in the store?

Coffee mugs?  Barware?   Please share your thoughts...

Thank you!

LEGO NORMANDY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...........

And some autographs? Perhaps you can get someone to talk nicely to mark meer.......

Ooh how about a real life range of ME2 sheps cabin collectable models?

Or a hanar dashboard driver, you know, one of those where you press a button to get it to talk, and it says like 10 different things :)

none of these were 100% serious, the 4th one 0% so............

If you're going into the barware department...I want some Mass Effect wine glasses ^_^

Other than that, I'd go for some of the ideas that were hashed out in the ME3 super collector's edition thread if those items are never actually going to come in some excessively expensive collector's edition. For example from that thread, a lamp made of legion's head or another geth's head with some good battle damage would be awesome. If the forum search function was still available, I'd find the thread for you to browse and link to. It had some interesting...and some far-fetched...ideas in it.

someting else I thought of, how about a model citadel?

Beocat, you could always experiment around with thinking about a citadel lampshade, it's the right shape, the problem would be the gaps. That's actually how I thought of a model citadel........

This time the model citadel was 100% serious

Oh I like the wine glass idea!

The lamp thing is neat too.

Shot glasses for the alcohlics and wine glasses for the aristocratic...I can imagine some ME/DA ideas for each of those...but pint glasses for the blue-collar that relate to video games? - meh...I'm a beer drinker, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I'd ever actually drink outa a ME pint... ...mixed drinks, maybe...but meh.  Edit: Of course this is a very practical veiw...though, if collection is your thing, shot glasses would do fine, i would think...

I 'm not sure about this, but I've always been a fan of chess.  I reailze that the fantasy world is flooded with different chess sets, but I'd think an ME (or even DA) chess set would be cool...expensive to make, and purchase, but still cool.  Only problem would singling out obvious characters for each roll...especially with the differences in the games, even between 1 and 2 (for example, a white king for DA2 could easily be canon male Hawke, while a white king for DA:O is...what?  - so then there can't really be a DA chess set - it would need to be DA2, in this case), but lets try anyways...
  • ME: Pawns (white: corporal jenkins*, black: husks), Kings (White: Canon Male Shep, Black: **Saren), Queens (White: Normandy SR-***, Black - a Reaper)...
* there really is no other dime-a-dozen friendly unit...maybe just basic Alliance infantry?
** Obviously ME1 based, which is a little silly given the ending, but any alternate would have the same problem...
*** Once again, timeline issues - SR-1 or SR-2...
 - I'd keep going, but it would obviously be really hard to decide (especially when you get to the 2's), and if you single out only one game in this 'epic trilogy', it would become easier but also seem very odd...   ...but i still think it would be pretty cool to have a set...

I suggested shot glasses a while ago, would love to see them again. Especially ones that riff off the whole tourist theme that most shot glasses have - i.e., "I visited Illium and I almost got sold into slavery!"

High quality models/figures from First4Figures, especially of the ships/stations. I'm talking like a foot or two in length Citadel, etc. Willing to do small models too, but would prefer the large ones.

The main takeaway - quality, quality quality!

how about a nice artwork or lithograph of mass effect/ dragon age? maybe something we haven't seen before, and like a previous poster mentioned, have some autographs on the perimeter. one collection could be for the voice cast, another for the writers, and so on and so forth. also, how about some posters in the style of movie posters?

if anyone has seen the steins created by Taverncraft for Blizzard's World of Warcraft I think Mass Effect team steins done like those would be amazing as well as Dragon Age and the idea of a stein would certainly fit into the DA world well (especially around dwarfs!)

Still waiting for a cloth map of Thedas. Even a poster...would LOVE to have something. The available map can be reduced to 18x24 pretty easily...but I'd prefer a 30x40.

Well, so far almost all of these suggestions are the exact same suggestions that were given many months ago when Jedi asked the same question. Good ideas, but sadly nothing much came of it last time around, so I do hope this time is different. .

Personally, I'm pretty supportive of most suggestions, as long as the quality is good, a model or something along those lines is great, but it's useless if it's of poor quality. Same with keychains and wallets, I like the idea, but I don't want some cheapo stuff like you'd buy for an 8 year old at a tourist trap.

On the barware stuff, in addition to the stiens and wine glasses, I'd like to see a full bar set, shot glasses, highball and lowball glasses, and maybe a drink tumbler/shaker modeled after the liquor cylinders in Mass Effect.

I don't really want some slogan on them though or to be covered in artwork, I would prefer emblems or group logo. For instance, for Mass Effect, the glassware could include Cerberus, Blood Pack, Spectre, Alliance, and other logos, maybe one that says SR 2 Normandy with a small detailed logo sized picture of the Normandy below. Dragon Age could obviously use Grey Wardens, Chantry, Templars and so on.

I'd also like to see a set of high quality metal pins made for either series, and some good quality pens with either slogans, characters or logos on them would be nice too. Maybe bookmarks for use with the novels would be neat, and while on that subject, I'd like to see a store exclusive reprinting of all the novels in hardcover, instead of just paperback.

Definitely check out the fan thread for items!

Ship models!

Thedas map!

i think there might have already been talk of this but i love Shepards dog tag, i would adore to have my own. Amulets akin to what DA2 have now would be nice, N7 Cerberus whatever....

Yup, without a doubt ship models, being a sculptor, I have been tempted to create my own, small scale of course, easier to mold and cast.

You may be onto something there TDL. If treehouse dont make it - you can. Limit them to say 100 each. I'd buy the set ;)
